Emma You Need To Stay Calm!

Weatherman: Hurricane Henri has its eyes on the Northeast! Late Sunday, into Monday is the time frame of interest! It shows Henri making landfall right over Cape Cod. Connecticut is in the cone of uncertainty! It could shift farther west than that! That would result in damaging winds, and flash flooding!

Emma: *stunned and mouth and eyes wide open*

Weatherman: We will keep an eye on this evolving situation!

Emma: NOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! *goes completely bonkers* I DON'T WANT A HURRICANE!!!!!!!! NOOOOOO!!!!!!!

Trevor: Emma, its gonna be okay!!!

Emma: *hyperventilating* WHY?!!!!!!!! WHY HERE IN CONNECTICUT?!!!!!! WHY?!!!!!!!!

Frank: Whoa, girl! Calm yourself!!

Emma: MAKE IT GO OUT TO SEA!!!!!! PLEASE!!!!!!!

Trevor: SNAP OUT OF IT!!! *shakes Emma*

SkittishReflections: Emma, you have to realize, that you can't control the weather! Especially natural disasters like hurricanes! The only thing you can do is prepare! And, I want to calm down, right this minute, before I suck you into the pen! You're carrying on in a childish way! I can't stand hysterics!

Emma: *shaking* I..... I....... I.......

SkittishReflections: Emma, take some deep breaths, please. In and out. Inhale, exhale. Come on.

Emma: *inhales and exhales*

SkittishReflections: Again!

Emma: *inhales and exhales*

SkittishReflections: Again!

Emma: *inhales and exhales*

Emma: *inhales and exhales*

Trevor: Feeling relaxed now, Emma?

Emma: *panting* A little.

Trevor: Please listen to some relaxing music. It'll really help. Like I said, before, Henri could move out to sea. There is a still a chance of that happening. The idea of Henri making landfall over Connecticut is not etched in stone.

SkittishReflections: Exactly! If the storm stays on the same path, we may have to stock up on water, batteries, and bread. We'll have to get ice for the cooler.

Me: Exactly. I'm just as nervous as Emma, but I didn't go berserk.

Matilda: Exactly. And, if the power does go out, the power crew will be quick to respond, and restore power as quickly as possible.

Me: I hope so. Last year, we dealt with a tropical storm, and the winds were so strong that it knocked out power here for 4 days straight! Some towns went without power for weeks!

SkittishReflections: That's crazy!

Me: It was! The power company received a lot of criticism, over their slow response! They had to pay some hefty fines! A lot of people were angry!

SkittishReflections: I wouldn't blame them! Taking so long to restore power?! Ridiculous!! Hopefully, it won't happen again!

Me: Connecticut is too wooded!! So many trees, so many power outages!!

Matthew: Agreed! Let's just hope that Henri moves out to sea! Anything can change!

A/N Emma went totally berserk!!! It's not etched in stone what Henri might do! A lot of factors can come into play! I truly hope for Henri to move out to sea, and not bother us at all!
