Itachi was kind enough to give me his shirt, and to walk me home. It was still daylight outside, so people were bustling about their daily business. Of course, we were being stared at because Itachi was walking with me and he was shirtless. I was enjoying the jealous stares, and Itachi didn't seem to notice them. He was politely acknowledging people who he caught eyes with. It was weird seeing the elusive ninja behave this way, but I've never seen him outside of the classroom so maybe this was normal. The conversation was light and awkward, until I smelled the food. I usually walked home at night when places were closed, I never was out when they were all open. All the smells were overwhelming and my stomach growled.

"I'm so hungry! I woke up late and didn't eat breakfast"

I sighed, eyeing the popular Ramen shop nearby.

"So you did. Seems like Mr. Hatake owes you something to eat for making you late, doesn't he?"

Itachi mused, motioning his head towards the Ramen shop i was just looking at.

I looked where he was motioning in confusion, and my heart dropped. Kakashi was in there with one of his comrades. Shit, I wasn't ready to face him yet. I quickly looked away and started looking for somewhere else to eat, but I suddenly lost my appetite. Why was I so nervous about seeing Kakashi all of a sudden? He's been a comrade in arms and a friend for years, nothing has changed.

"I'll let you handle your business. Have a good weekend, Yohei. See you on Monday"

Itachi smiled, and waved me off.

Before I could protest he disappeared. Damn, he was fast! What were these damn shinobi built from? I groaned in annoyance and gathered my courage. I slapped a smile on my face and headed into the Ramen shop. Kakashi immediately noticed my presence and lazily looked at me from the side of his peripheral vision. That was a good sign, typical of the man.

"Hey, Yo. What are you doing out in the sunlight?"

He asked, smiling under his mask.

"Hey Kashi, sparring ended early today so I came for food. I woke up late for some reason and couldn't eat breakfast"

I mused, sitting next to him.

"Thats so funny, I did too. I wonder why"

He retorted, vaguely referencing our steamy night together.

I blushed at his nonchalant nature, he was boldly acting like nobody else could understand what was going on. I felt a little relieved that he was acting normally and relaxed. His friend sitting on the other side of him sat up from devouring his Ramen bowl and gave me a friendly smile. His headband was weird, I've never seen it before. It was metal and kind of framed his face like armor. His plain, dead eyes was void of life but he was inviting. I didn't know how to take him, but I gave him a smile back so I wouldn't appear rude.

"My name is Yamato nice to meet you," he said politely before turning back to the chef, "BBQ pork miso Ramen, please."

"Yohei Sukanawa, nice to meet you Yamato"

I smiled back at him.

Kakashi finished his bowl and looked over at me as I ordered my food. When I caught his gaze I saw amusement twinkling in his eyes.

"Looks like Itachi and you talked again"

He smirked, eyeing my shirt.

"Yeah actually we did," I explained nervously. Might as well get this over with. "A little more than that actually."

"Yeah, I can smell his chakra on you"

He chuckled.

My cheeks burned bright red as the chef gave me my food. He heard that! No doubt Yamato too. Although it was embarrassing that Kakashi already knew, I was a little relieved that he didn't seem upset. It seems like my white haired friend wasn't looking for anything more serious, and didn't care what I did. Above all, I really didn't want to lose such a good friend. Yamato finished his second bowl and politely said goodbye and left. Kakashi seemed to relax a bit after he left, and he turned to me. We talked casually as I ate, and was happy to have his company. Time passed so quickly when talking to him i honestly didn't know how long we were actually there. I finished my food and we got up to leave. We thanked the chef for our food, and Kakashi nudged my arm playfully.
