Baby Malik-Payne

It was past midnight. Liam & Zayn were snuggled up on the couch watching movies together. Liam had fallen Asleep but Zayn just couldn't the baby wasn't sitting still & it was slowly getting more painful for him. not wanting to wake up Liam he gets up and slowly and goes to the kitchen to stretch and get something to eat in case that's what is making the baby upset.

however, as he opened the fridge he let out a low grunt almost a growl this was definitely not a cramp he thought as he grabbed at his stomach softly as if trying to soothe the baby.  However, this obviously did not help as he gripped the fridge handle through his next  contraction

Liam had woken up at the sudden cold air on his bare chest after Zayn had left. After noticing Zayn had gotten up Liam went to look for him. Zayn was by now hunched over the kitchen bench in pain Liam ran towards him. Zayn was too focused on his pain he didn't realise Liam (His Payne 😏) was awake little own walking up behind him. So he jumped a little as Liam wrapped his arm around his waist

"is it time?" Liam asked softly tying Zayn hair back into a man bun so it was out of his face
"I think so," Zayn said now holding on to Liam's arm he knew he was probably hurting him with the tightness of his grip but he didn't care at the moment and Liam didn't say anything

Before Liam had the chance to even think about his answer he felt a warm liquid running down the front of Zayn's tracksuit pants (sweat pants)  Zayns water had broken. this was the real thing.

Before Liam even knew what he was doing he scooped Zayn up in his arms and ran to the car putting down gently in the passenger seat and doing up his seatbelt before getting into the driver's seat and starting to drive to the Hospital completely forgetting the bag that Zayn had spent so long packing after they arrived at the hospital they were put into their own room as apparently, Zayn wasn't ready to start pushing yet. Liam had called both their mums and friends.

soon Zayn's mum was there with the forgotten bag and some homemade Chum Chums. she was closely followed by Liam's mum both mums chatting in the corner excited for the baby to be here while Liam sat next to the bed stroking Zayn's hand and rubbing the sweat off his forehead both of them were so worried for the birth but also just for life, they were going to be parents Liam thought he was going to have a little person that relied on him for everything.

Liam didn't have time to dwell though as a nurse came in to check Zayn and established he was ready to have the baby. after an eventful hour,

the baby was here in Zayn's arm Liam couldn't take his eyes off him, he well they, mostly Zayn made that. and it was theirs to keep it all felt surreal

their mums excused themselves so that the new little family could have some alone time

"Look Liam," Zayn said in a whisper as he looked over his sleeping baby

"I'm looking Babe, I can't stop looking" Liam chucked softly and they sat in complete silence Liam got on the bed and hand one hand around his Fiance and the other on his baby. Zayn rested his head on Liam's shoulder and eventually fell asleep.

once Liam noticed he gave him a kiss on the forehead and slowly took the tiny baby from his arms into the Bassinet  next to the bed and laid him down and tucked him in just as the mums came back their arms filled with bags of food for the 4 of them

After all, the food had been divided and Zayn's share was put into the fridge for him to after as no one wanted to wake him up. he probably wouldn't be hungry anyway. the Three sat on the table in the corner of the room Liam had moved the bassinet to his side as if he was afraid the baby would simply disappear into thin air

"so what's his name?" Trisha asked

"Cruz, Cruz hamza Malik-Payne."
