A few days later, Octavia, Tania, Blaise, and to my annoyance, Mattheo were sitting with me in the Hog's Head, surrounded by others, none of them were in the same House as us.
"Uh, Hi," Hermione said, standing up. All thirty eyes were on her, Harry, and Ron. I was sitting next to the Weasley twins, who were looking serious for once.
About twenty minutes later, we were all signing a paper, as well as our House.

After we all filled out the paper, we left the Hog's Head in little groups, making sure not to be suspicious.
"Well, that was something. Draco's going to be sad he missed it." Octavia said as we walked back together from Hogsmeade. Octavia, Blaise, and Tania all began talking about something random, probably about O.W.Ls. While we were walking, Mattheo pulled me by my coat sleeve, making me stop.
"Why can't you let me in again, Tay?" He asked.
"I'm letting you in, you're letting me down," I said, shrugging my shoulders.
"You know that's not true, Taylor-" I cut him off
"I swear when you talk, you just like the sound." I scowled at him.
"I don't, I just want to be back in your life."
"One too many times I let you ruin my life 'cause I thought you would change but I see it now," I said, taking my coat sleeve from his hand.
"Tay, please, I don't like Clemence!" He said, annoyed.
"All the yelling and kissing and fighting," I began. "We never could see eye to eye. Because you might seem like a man but you're not one in your mind." He scoffed.
"Oh really?"
"Yeah, I'm back on my shit and it's tempting to call you and see how you're doing. But I couldn't understand you if I tried."
"Why not?" He asked me.
"I don't speak Boyshit." I hissed.
"What the fuck is Boyshit?" He asked.
"You're always coming back but your love's poison," I said, ignoring him.
"You don't know anything about my love!" He said, getting upset now.
"I still think I'd rather avoid it." I shrugged.
"Ugh, Tay-"
"Don't know how to talk or communicate, we're so on and off to you it's a game." I ticked off on my gloved fingers.
"I know how to communicate! And I don't play games." He argued.
"If you don't level up I'm leaving you in the dust. I'm moving on until you start trying to act your age." I said.
"Taylor, please listen to me," Snow was falling on his face now.
"Trying to get through to you, it's pointless. You might have a way with words but I'm a woman. I can't understand you, 'cause I don't speak Boyshit."
"Okay, fine." He surrendered. "Will you at least be my friend?" He asked, peering into my eyes.
"Fine," I sighed. "On one condition,"
"What's that?" He asked.
"You hit on me from time to time." He let out a laugh.
"You just told me we wouldn't get back together."
"Yeah, and from time to time you need a reminder," I said, and with that, we began walking to catch up with our friends, Mattheo still laughing silently.
