Looking at maplekit and fawn kit argue with nightleap was amusing but I was glad I groomed my own pelt,well kinda nightleap didn't let me stop for a while.
Keep licking and don't forget your ears! Look it's shiny can I stop now? What about you chest fur it's sticking out everywhere! Ok ok.
Flicking my tail in amusement I went and picked the spot I wanted to sit at for my while I waited for my apprentice ceremony.

Swanstar made his way up the jagged rock.I watched as he yowled,let all cats old enough to swim in the river gather here before jagged rock for a clan meeting! Nightleap,maplekit and fawn kit cam e to join me at the back of the crowd. Why did you choose the back of the crowd for us to sit butterflykit WE are having our apprentice ceremony we should be at the front! I looked at fawnkit with a determined look, BECAUSE bee-brain like you said it's OUR apprentice ceremony,so we should have a grand entrance!I did NOT clean my pelt until my togue hurt not to have the best ceremony this clan will EVER see.Till your togue hurt?Nightleap their becoming apprentices not speaking to all the clans! I jumped at hearing Silversong's voice.Startled?He said looking smug.Of course not i just didn't see you approach us is all!

Today I have the honor of naming our first three apprentices not only that but the kits of my loyal deputy. swanstar pured.Butterflykit step forward! As I walked with my tail and head held high the crowd parted I stopped just in front of the rock.Swanstar jumped down only a few fish lengths away from me. Butterflykit,you have reached the age of six moons,and it's time for you to be apprenticed. From this on,until you receive your warrior name,you will be known as butterflypaw. Your mentor will be Hornetstrike.I hope she will pass down everything she knows to you.

Hornetstrike padded over to me. I touched my nose to her's and we went over to near the camp entrance.
Im so glad I got you as a mentor Hornetstrike your so cool! I couldn't help but squeal.Thank you butterflypaw I'm glad I got you as an apprentice you were a very interesting kit I have to say Now let's watch you littermates get apprenticed.

Well butterflypaw it's too late to explore the territory so will do that tomorrow yeah? Oh of course Hornetstrike! I'll get lots of sleep so we can explore and I get to finally leave camp! I love your enthusiasm but yes tomorrow at sunhigh I'll see if Morningbrook wants to join us with fawnpaw. Ok I said as Hornetstrike padded away.

I went to the apprentice den and saw their was best waiting for me but their wasn't one for fawnpaw.Wheres my nest?!I'm going to take you out after we explore the territory with Hornetstrike and butterflypaw to get moss for your nest.I looked at fawnpaw in shock and laughed a little.Its okay fawnpaw you can share mine it gets cold at night anyway and you don't have a thick coat.Fawnpaw sighed and curled up next to me in my nest.I whispered a goodnight to fawnpaw and went to sleep.

Butterflykit.Yes? I want you to be my successor.
I stared at Silversong, Successor for what?For when I become leader I want you to take my place when I loose my nineth life.
I-i will do it I said in slight uncertainty.Im glad to hear you say that butterflykit now let's go back to the others and you must NEVER tell anyone else about this conversation or that your my Successor. I soon realized when I woke up that I was not in the apprentice den I was in a dark clearing surrounded by trees and bushes.Hello little one. I heard a soft voice speak soon I saw a mysterious cat pad from the darkness up to me.I soon realized it was a she-cat she had bright green eyes,a brown pelt fading to black with a white underbelly, muzzle with some surrounding her eyes.Wait I can see through her! Are you a sunclan, moonclan or dusk clan cat?! She paused seemingly thinking before she spoke I am from moonclan and you have been chosen young one to be trained by me.

Wow! Moonclan chose me?! That's so cool! One of the clans of ancient my warrior ancestors chose to mentor me! Yes I know young one.Now I'm going to tech you to hunt next time you will learn to hunt in complete darkness and see in it aswell."Ok!

First let's see your hunters crouch.
I slowly crouched low and made my tail go straight and stalked.You need to go slower and crouch a little higher your fur is brushing the ground."Doing as instructed I got a satisfied nod.oh what's your name by the way I asks as I sat up.I-i am owlstrike." I noticed the hesitantion but ignored it.Now go back into the hunters crouch and leap.Make sure you put lots of force on your leap and keep your claws sheathed."nodding I went into the hunters crouch and leaped into the air landing swiftly on the ground.Wow what's next? Nothing it's almost sunrise and you need more sleep to explore.Ok thank you owlstrike!Your welcome now get to sleep."I curled up and closed my eyes and slowly went back to sleep.

Wake up butterflypaw and fawnpaw it's time to explore the territory!I shot up in excitement I poked fawnpaw and he got up.we padded out the den and went to the fresh kill pile.do you want to share a fish or robin?I offered fawnpaw. Sure let's share the robin! Picking up the robin we went to the flat rocks next to the entrance and ate the robin.we rushed over to our mentors and padded out of camp.

I nodded to waveflower who was guarding the camp entrance.he smiled at me and turn to face ahead.I blinked at him and went up beside Hornetstrike. So how's being and paw and getting out of camp for the first time? It's nice to finally see what out here and being a paw is nice right fawnpaw? It is when you get a nest."
I shared mine I didn't have to and aren't you going to get moss your nest will have new really fresh moss. I guess you right. We continued to tour the territory.

I saw maplepaw eating a fish by herself.Hey maplepaw! Oh hi butterflypaw! Do you want to share this fish? Of course! So how was your adventure? Oh it was fun Hornetstrike is a great mentor! What about you?How's being a medicine cat and having grassvine be your mentor?
Grassleap is a little bit off but then again he's been in the den so long by himself.But other than that being a medicine cat is fun I know how to treat minor cuts and bellyaches!

What could he have possibly gotten himself into? I'm STILL taking feathers out! I said flicking my tail at Silversong. I'll have you know I almost caught a hawk. I stopped taking out feathers and looked at maplepaw we both said in union looking back at fawnpaw.DO YOU HAVE BEE'S IN YOUR BRAIN?! Anyone with a brain would know better than to mess with a hawk! It wasn't my fault it looked smaller than it was. I sighed.im going to sleep you've stressed me out fawnpaw. As I got into my nest I realized I'm going to get to train with owlstrike again! I'm going to be the best warrior the clans have ever seen thanks to owlstrike.Not even the best warrior but the best leader ever known.
