Truce ¿Huang Renjun?

"Why are we here again?"

Eunha giggled as she looked at the amusement park in front of her.

"What? We didn't ride all of it the last time"

Renjun pointed out while he munched on his churro, Eunha stared at him with a blank expression not really sure what she should respond with.

"I wanna ride that one"

Eunha giggled at Renjun- honestly he looked like a kid as he looked at the rides around them. How could she have missed that look in his eyes the first time?

"You act like it's your first time"

"Second time actually"

Eunha stopped in her tracks looking back at Renjun who couldn't have been more unbothered by her bewildered expression.

"You mean, the first time we went here...?"

"Yah, that was my first time"

"Huang Renjun!"

The girl whined, feeling tears prickling her eyes, well they were crocodile tears but he didn't know that - the boy in question looked at her in panic, hushing her wails because everyone's eyes were already on them.

"Why didn't you tell me?!"

"We weren't close"

"Oh right, that's only because you kept pushing me away"

The girl huffed, letting out a chuckle at Renjun's defeated face.

"I already said I was sorry"

The boy grumbled, making her laugh much more than before. Eunha watched his back as he walked infront of her in search of more rides and games to do.

If she was being honest, then she'd say she hadn't really imagine Renjun to be one who could act like a kid.

He seemed so mature, so calm like he has everything under control. She didn't really think that Renjun would be the one to comfort her.

Nor would he be the one to take her to the amusement park so she can forget all about last night. She would've expected those things from Jaemin but from how things had panned out, she doubted he'd still like to be her friend.

Her gaze landed on a couple looking happy, walking together hand in hand and she couldn't help the pain that twinge her heart.

It was hard to accept that Jaemin and Yerin would be like that soon enough. What can she do anyway Jaemin doesn't like her, and now she ruined their friendship.

"Hey, dumb bitch"

"That's rude, Reonjeon"

She mumbled at the boy in front of her, Renjun sighed pulling her in his arms as he stared warily at the poor couple who looked confused- he offered them a smile before looking back at Eunha.

"You can cry-"

"No I'm sorry, it's embarrasing"

Renjun chuckled ruffling her hair as she pulled away from his embrace.

"Should've thought of that before sobbing"

"Yeah you're right"

She mumbled, trying to sound cheery and upbeat - but of course her voice faded into a whisper.

The boy rolled his eyes, grasping the girl's wrist as he pushed past the crowd and into a line for some ride.

"We're here to forget about that jerk you know"

"Yeah"

If it was possible for his eyes to be stuck on the back of his head on how much he already rolled his eyes because of the girl- it would've been stuck there already.

Renjun rubbed his temple, of course he knew it wouldn't be easy for her to forget someone she loved her whole life - he didn't even know why he was helping her.

Well maybe he knows but of course he wouldn't admit the reason why.

"Just think of it this way, they're stuck in that stupid ass school while we get to be here"

Eunha smiled gratefully at the boy infront of her, the infamous gummy smile that could make anyone's heart beat faster - and now Renjun knows that those rumors were true.

He looked anywhere but her, cupping a hand over his mouth to hide the smile forming on his face as his ears began to show a red hue.

"Hey you ok?"

"I'm ok, oh look it's our turn"

Definitely the mate connection's fault.
