Darrel pulled up outside a medium sized house, in a run-down looking neighborhood. I slowly got out of the truck, and looked at it. Very... homey. I walked to the trunk, thinking about taking my bags down, but Darrel beat me to it.

"Don't worry, lil lady, I got it" he said. I smiled.

"Thank you, Darrel" I replied.

"Please, call me Darry" he said with a smile. We walked up the steps, and Darry opened the door. When, two boys came running out, one yelling at the other one.

"Just wait until I get my hands on you, Sodapop!" the guy shouted. I stood there on the side as the other boy, who I'm guessing was Sodapop, was laughing as he ran to the middle of the street. What was bizzar, was that he had no shirt on. The guy chased after him, before Sodapop ran inside the house, the guy chasing after him. I turned to Darry, who shook his head in disappointment.

"Well, this is normal compared to everything else" he said. I raised an eyebrow as we walked into the house. The living room was packed with boys. I think there were seven total, but then again, I didn't really count. Darry looked around the noisy room, before placing my bags on the floor. "Guys!"

Suddenly, everything stopped. The noise, mostly. Everybody in the room turned and looked at us. I turned away from their stares.

"Okay, first things first, I'd like y'all to meet, Jasmine Villegas. She'll be staying with us from now on. And second of all, y'all better not of finished the chocolate cake. That's right, I'm looking at you Steve." The only guy with chocolate frosting around his mouth, just shrugged.

"Wait a few hours, you'll get it back" he replied with a devious smile.

"Man, that's gross" another guy piped in. It was awkward, well, for me it was. I was the only girl here, in a room full of teenage boys.

"Okay guys, why don't y'all make her at home, while I prepare dinner" Darry said.

"Don't worry, Darry, we'll make sure she is" one of the guys replied. Darry walked into the kitchen, leaving me alone in the living room. All 6 guys stared at me. This time, I did count. Almost immediately, one of the guys ran up to me, holding out their hand.

"Hi there, I'm Two-Bit" he introduced, a smile planted on his face. I shook his hand.

"Hi, it's nice to meet you" I replied shyly.

"Well, aren't you polite" he said. I felt a slight burning on my cheeks.

"Geez, Two-Bit, your making her nervous" the shirtless boy blurted.

"Shut up, Soda" To-Bit shot back. I stayed quit. Everyone chuckled, as Two-Bit sat down with a beer in his hand, and started watching Mickey Mouse.

"Don't mind him, hunny. I'm Soda, Sodapop Curtis" the guy said. "And that's Ponyboy Curtis, Johnny Cade, Steve Randle, and last but not least, Dallas Winston."

"It's a pleasure to meet y'all" I stated.

"Would you like me to lead you to your room?" I nodded, and grabbed my bags. Soda went up to me, and took them out of my hands. "This way" he said, leading me to the room I'm going to be staying in. When I walked in, I noticed it was medium sized. Not too big, not too small. Soda placed my bags on the bed, and turned to me. "Hope you like it" he said.

"It's very nice" I replied, still looking around.

"Soda, you'll be sharing the room with Jasmine" Darry called from the kitchen.

"Well, I guess we're room mates" Soda said, a playful smile on his face. I slightly smiled back, still a bit shy. And wondering if it really was okay to be sharing a room with a guy.
