Friend or boyfriend?

After a week passed Shira and I are back to normal. Some things has changed Shira would sleep next to me without fear. Every time it happens I began to purr.

We would hunted together sometimes we would play together. Our relationship has gotten better but we still argue.

One day I was alone in the cave when I woke up. I didn't felt Shira next to me. I immediately began to look around. Maybe she went hunting early.

I stayed in the cave and slept for little longer. When I woke up it was mid day. I started to feel hungry. I went out hunting alone.

After eating I went out for water and I returned back to the cave. Several hours passed by it was sunset. I started to look at sky wondering when Shira is coming back.

As I was lost in my thoughts. I realized it was dark. I started to get worried for Shira. Then I saw Shira coming to the cave with a saber behind her.

Shira spoke, "Hey Diego you been here the whole time?"

"Hey and who is this?"

"Oh him. He's a good friend don't worry he is no threat."

They entered the cave. I couldn't say anything because Shira and I aren't together we're just companions.

That night I couldn't sleep. I felt hostile against him like he was going to take something that is mine.

I went out of the cave and started looking at stars.

"Beautiful ain't she?"

I turned back and it was the saber.

I spoke, "Why you ask?"

"Well are you two are together?"

"No."

"Well I want her to be my mate."

I felt I wanted to fight him but it would wrong.

I spoke, "It's your choice I won't interfere."

"Cool."

Then he went back to the cave. He went to sleep next to Shira. I felt myself growling then Shira seems to move away from him.

I went back to sleep staying in distant from them. When I woke up I felt a body next to me like cuddling.

I opened my eyes it was Shira. I wondered how Shira ended up sleeping next to me.

I spoke, "Shira wake up."

Shira spoke sleepily, "A little longer."

Shira snuck her head into my chest. I saw the saber was awake. He looks frustrated with me.

When Shira started to get up, Shira rubbed her body against mine. I started feel myself blushing.

Shira went out to stretch her body. When everybody was up we were feeling hungry.

The saber spoke, "Hey Shira let's go hunting together."

Shira spoke, "Okay. Are you going to be okay Diego?"

I responded, "It's okay Shira. I can go alone. Have fun."

Shira and the saber went out hunting together. Well there weren't much to do. I went to hunt small prey.

It took me the whole day to hunt. It was getting late and I'm far from the cave. I started to bring the leftovers back to the cave.

It took me a while to get back. As soon I returned I saw Shira standing out of the cave.

Shira saw me and spoke, "Where were you Diego?"

I responded, "Hunting."

Shira seems started to cry.

I asked, "What wrong?"

"The saber was trying to force me to become his mate. But I was able to get away."

Shira puts her head in my shoulders. I felt my anger started to boil. That saber was going to force Shira to become his mate!

We heard the saber's voice, "Shira."

I turned around and I was ready kill him.

Shira spoke, "I don't want you here."

"It was a test."

I spoke, "A test?!"

I went in front of the saber. Face to face ready for a fight. I began growling at him. Then suddenly he back down and started walking away.

I was ready to chase him away.

Shira spoke under my neck, "Thank you Diego."

"I won't let them hurt you."

"I think you are becoming soft."

I gulped and spoke, "I don't like girls getting hurt."

Then Shira started purring under my neck. It seems I was getting comfortable with Shira. I started to feel my heart beat faster. I don't know what to think I'm either her friend or boyfriend.
