"I kept my identity pretty guarded this past couple years."

"To a point."

"I faced a lot of deception."

"Eh, depends on the context of the situation."

"And I'm tired of the lies."

"Me too."

'So it's time for the truth to be out there."

"It is."

"Are you dating?" The teens ask at the same time.

"Yes." Happy exclaims, letting out a massive sigh as Aunt May shrugs. The two adults look at each other quickly, as do the teens. "What?"

As the two older people sort out their relationship, Iduna and Peter focus on their own conversation. "I told you so." She says smartly as Peter scoffs.

"Okay, mimic god. I just needed verbal confirmation." Peter was sitting backwards on a dining chair as Iduna sat up on hers like the throne.

The adults then switched up and started focusing on them. Clearly, their conversation was meant for behind closed doors. "Are you dating?"

Like two deer in headlights, Iduna and Peter freeze for a moment. Happy and May relished in the sight of the teens stalling, trying to come up with an excuse for whatever was going on.

"You know, we just got back from London, after you know, with weird, bearded Midgardian men planning to massacre cities." Iduna starts to ramble.

"You see, Iduna's response just now is exactly what was meant to answer that question with, and you know, we're gonna go because we've got a date with some friends," Peter adds to Iduna's start. They were obviously a dynamic duo.

The adults raise their brows. "In your suits?" The teens look at Peter's new black Spider-Man suit and Iduna's Night Devil suit.

"Yes." They answer at the same time.

"A date with friends?" May asks.

"No, a double date." That's when Peter slips up.

Iduna's jaw drops. "Bye!" The young girl webs up their masks before yanking Peter after her through the open apartment window. The teens quickly slide on their masks and sling out from the window, drowning out the 'I knew it's yelling from their guardians.

From the moment they left the Parker apartment, Iduna and Peter yelled out in conversation. Yelling out into the wind. Performing flips and tricks whilst descending at high speeds. It was an exhilarating experience that pumped adrenaline through their bodies. This was the first time in weeks where they could run and jump and swing freely.

"Smile!" Peter yells out as he takes out his phone and starts to snap pictures of them swinging. Iduna flips behind him and displays a thumbs-up. "Brilliant."

"Woohoo!" She calls out as Peter continues to take pictures. "Where are we meeting them?"

"Times Square!" They sprawl out like snow angels as Peter chucks his phone in the air to take a timed picture.

"Lead the way, Parker." Peter spins around in front of her and nods obnoxiously.

On the edge of Eighth Avenue near Times Square, Shuri and MJ stop eating their hot dogs to look up to find two bouncing figures in the sky. "They're late," Shuri mutters.

"Told you so." MJ chuckles as the two swinging figures plummet towards them. "Oh my god." MJ lurches behind Shuri as Iduna and Peter land on traffic poles.

Iduna was the first to jump down. "Sorry, we're late."

Peter lands next to her. "We had to do some interrogating, but then we ended up getting interrogated."

The other girls shrug in unison. "All good."

"But your lunch is not as hot as it would be if you were on time." MJ hands them a foiled roll.

"Thank you... we'll be quick, so we can do some roof-running." Iduna says nicely as a ringing noise boom across Times Square.

All look towards the big tv screen as a news headline pops up. "This is breaking news. We come to you now with revelations about last week's attack in London." The four teens exchange wary looks. "An anonymous source provided this video. It shows Quentin Beck, aka Mysterio, moments before his death. A warning you may find this video disturbing."

"What's going on?" Iduna asks curiously. The other three all began to feel a bit numb as the news anchor changed to a close-up video of Beck.

He looked injured and frightened – a blatant lie. "I managed to send the Elemental through the rift, but I don't think I'm gonna make it off this alive. Spider-Man attacked for some reason. He has an army of weaponised drones, Stark technology." Iduna watched as Peter's body began to droop. "He's saying he's the only one who's gonna be the new Iron Man, no one else."

The onlooking crowd gasps in shock as the image changes to Beck on the floor and the bottom half of Peter. They were enclosed by some debris. The video played a recall of Peter apparently calling for a drone attack on the people, followed by the sound of the drone blasting and people screaming. Peter looked back on his friends, speechless of what was happening.

"This shocking video was released earlier today on the controversial news website TheDailyBugle.net." The anchor-man comes back.

"There's more?" Iduna asks her friends again.

The screen changes to a stern-looking man with a green background. "There you have it, folks, conclusive proof that Spider-Man was responsible for the murder of Mysterio, an interdimensional warrior who gave his life to protect our planet and who will in no doubt go down in history as the greatest superhero of all time."

Iduna shakes her head. "No."

"But that's not all folks. Here's the real blockbuster. Brace yourselves." The scene changes back to ravaged Beck.

"Spider-Man's real... Spider-Man's real name is...." The video cuts out a few times, but Iduna recognised the sound of the name. "Spider-Man's name is Peter Parker." The crowd gasps as all the air leave Peter's lungs.

"What the fu...-"

The video continues. "And you all have to know, this world has to know... Spider-Man's ally, Night Devil, she is not from this world." Iduna's heart stopped like it has one time before. "Her name is Iduna Thordottir." Iduna's food drops to the floor as her passport photo pops up on the screen for everyone to see. "She is from the planet Valyriate, the same place where all those aliens came from five years ago and decimated us. She is the one who made the Elementals stronger. She helped Peter. She's going to be the reason I die." The video cuts off as hundreds of eyes lock on the two teenagers.
