Amity POV

"LUZ!" I rushed in to hug her but she stopped be before I could put my arms around her. "Amity you need to get out of here, move or hide. This is confidential but... Belos is trying to kill you and everyone else." my eyes went wide with shock.

"I... I was assigned to k-kill you, I work for Belos, and so does those other 2 bodyguards. We were supposed to get you close to us then, end it there." why is she telling me all this? Is she going to end it here now that she's told me.

"When we fell through that hole 4 years ago, everyone thought we were dead, but instead Belos pulled us out and made sure we followed his rules. If we didn't follow his rules he would punish us in ways that hurt to imagine again." Luz said, she looked away and stuck her hands in her pockets, I saw a sharp object pointing out of her pocket and my eyes went wide again.

She pulled out the object which looks like a small dagger and walked up to me. "I'm sorry Amity, now that you know all of this it's time to go."

"NO PLEASE, I WON'T TELL ANYONE." I shouted, I kept saying the same thing over and over as she got closer, I attempted to run away but she grabbed my arm and placed the dagger close to my throat. "LUZ PLEASE I'M SORRY PLEASE DON'T"

When I said that she dropped the dagger and fell to her knees. "Amity at some point your going to die because you know all of this, I'm so sorry, I shouldn't have been assigned as your body guard." when she said that there was rustling in the woods behind me, I turn around and see the other 2 bodyguards step out. "LUZ WHY THE FUCK DID YOU SHOW HER YOUR FACE?" Luz stood up and grabbed the one who shouted by the collar.

"I already tried to fucking kill her, I just can't, ok? AND I HAVE MY REASONS ON WHY I SHOWED MY FUCKING FACE!" I saw my opportunity to run away so I took it and started sprinting into the woods. "SHE'S GETTING AWAY." I heard one of them shout and I could hear there feet running towards me.

Luz POV

I put my mask and hood back on, just in case we run into some people. "Split up" I say and the other 2 nodded, I went straight, one went left and the other went right.

I could hear Amity so I began to run faster until I spotted her and tackled her to the ground, I covered her mouth so she couldn't speak. "If they find you, there going to kill you, so please find somewhere and hide." she nodded and jumped into a bush next to me. That's when the other 2 grabbed her from the bush. "Trying to protect your little crush huh?" damn it.

She needs to get away or else she's gonna die. I saw one of them pull out a staff and sat the girl on it. "DAMN IT VINEY AND BOSCHA! LET AMITY GO." I pulled off my mask and hood so I could breath a little, that's when they both did the same thing and revealed there features, Boscha having a scar down her 3rd eye (top one) and a scar down her lip. Viney had one ear missing and an eyepatch. I was lucky and only had a scar going down my right cheek.

After I had yelled at both of them, Boscha talked me to the ground and started beating the shit out of me while Viney was holding Amity back. "DAMN IT NOCEDA YOU REALLY ARE TRYING TO KILL HER HUH?" I push her off of me and whipped some blood out of the corner of my mouth. "She needs to know Boscha, at some point we were going to kill them anyway. Bosses rules." Viney looks away and Boscha sighs.

"We have to take her to him though, or we'll be punished again." I hesitantly nod and Boscha pulls out her staff, Viney began to fly away with Amity and I got onto the back of Boscha's staff.

Time skip at the castle

We get off and Viney basically drags Amity in, me and Boscha follow behind. I couldn't look at her, the pain in her eyes hurt me so much. We arrive to where Belos is seated and Viney throws Amity in front of her, me, Viney and Boscha get on one knee for the emperor. "The Blight girl? She knows doesn't she." all 3 of us nod and stand back up. I step forward and sigh. "I'm sorry emperor I didn't mean to fail your orders."

He nods and gestures for me to go back to my spot. "Her death will be public in 2 days." I hear her gasp and my heart shattered. 2 of the guards grab Amity's arms and drag her down to the dungeon, where she will be staying for the next 2 days, then she will be... Killed.
