Luz POV

It was night time and me, Boscha and Viney shared a room. Both of them were asleep, but I was wide awake thinking about Amity. Some time passed by and I finally decided to go see her, I put on my mask but kept on my night clothes. I was walking down the stairs when I heard two guards talking so I grabbed out a glyph and held my breath.

They past by and I sprinted down the stairs, still holding my breath. Once I got to the bottom I took in some air and became visible again. "Now where is her cell." I said in a whisper voice, I started to walk around quietly when I heard banging and someone yelling about how they wanted to be freed.

I started to run towards the noise and stopped in front of the cell. "Luz!" I smiled softly. "Your not gonna die, I promise you." she said softly.

Amity POV

I smiled but as I did a guard came behind Luz and hit her head really hard, causing her to fall to the ground. The guard tied up her hands and made her stand up. There was a second one who took me out of my cell and walked me and Luz to a familiar room... Belos room.

"We caught Luz trying to break this girl out" one of the guards said, throwing Luz to the ground. She grunted in pain. "Is this true Luz?" she looked up at Belos and shook her head. "No sir I was just trying to... Teach her a lesson before her day of death."

He stood up and walked over to Luz, picking her up and throwing her against a wall. "Human I have had enough of your lying, I barely punished you before, but now that we have an observer." he gestured at me. "I'll give you all the punishment you deserve from over the years."

He picked her up by the collar, making her feet dangle in the air and threw her against another wall. Her hands were still tied behind her back, rendering her helpless.

"Damn it Belos I'm not lying. I was trying to teach her a lesson." he walked closer to Luz and gestured to the guards to go over there. "Beat her till she can't walk." the guard holding my arms stayed and another started kicking Luz's face multiple times. Belos went back to his seat and watched.

The guard picked her up and punched her gut multiple times. Causing her to cough up blood. "Untie me so it's a fair fight, coward." Luz smirked and the guy took it as a challenge, untying her. She whipped the blood coming from her nose and looked at me.

Out of no where she started sprinting towards me and picked me up. "Don't let her get away!" Belos yelled and guards stood in the doorway, blocking our path. "You not dying Amity, I promise." she placed me down. "Kill her if you have to guards." her eyes went wide but put her fists up ready for a fight.

One of the guards lunged towards her with a sharp object. "Shit I forgot they had weapons." she said and picked me up again, the guard that moved gave her an exit to get out of there so she took it and ran. Behind her multiple guards were throwing spears and daggers at her. We ran towards a window and she looked out, the guards caught up to us and one of them pierced her stomach. "R-run far away Amity, live your life." she tossed me out the window, I saw her body fall to the floor as I was nearing the ground, but I was saved and was slowly lowered to the ground.

I looked around. "VINEY! BOSCHA!" I ran into hug them, tears falling down my face. "Where's Luz?" Viney asked. "Sh-she's hurt... O-or dead, Belos has her."
