Rafael
I don't take the painkillers offered by Ray. I need to feel the pain,to let it keep my mind sharp. I have to get her back, and her looking for a husband offers the perfect oportunity. I will show her why I'm the perfect choice, even if for now she hates my guts.
I know for a fact that a love like ours, that burned so bright, so passionate will never fade. And it doesn't allow us to hate each other. So yes she despises me, she resents me,she had lost her trust and faith in me. But everything else it's still the same. The gravitational pull that ties us together is still there. It's been there since the first time we met.
I close my eyes letting the memories greet me.

Mama said we're having visitors today, friends that come over all the way from America, Damiano and Gloria Morelli. Mama also said they are bringing their daughter with them. She is 6, basically a baby. I really hope she will spend her time with Dante and won't bother me.
I'm playing Mario Cart and I'm about to win, when the door opens, and mama asks me to come and greet the guest. I pause the game, and as I head in their direction, taking the girl in.
Our eyes lock and I feel like something stole my breath. Are angels even real? I think they are and she is one. Her pretty jet black hair, her sparkly deep brown eyes, her adorable smile... she's even wearing a flowy white dress.
As mama leaves her into my care, we introduce ourselves to one another. She spews a lot of words about all her nicknames. She's like Dante when he's had too much sugar, but not annoying, cute. Her voice is soft and soothing, I could listen to her all day. Can she sing? I bet she can. I hope to hear her someday.
She decides to focus on my brother and I resume my game, but then I hear Dante asking her to play:
"Sure. I'll be the princess and you'll be my knight in shining armour!" she exclaims. Something about her words doesn't sit well with me, and I frown. I forget all about my game:
"I want to be your knight." I say, feeling my cheeks warm up. "Dante can be my squire."
She smiles, and there's this tingly feeling inside me. I like making her smile and this strange thing that lets me know where in the room she is without having to look.
I bet Elena would have loved her. She used to be my best friend. After she left me, I never wanted, nor needed to make new friends. But Soraya is different. The little sunshine could make anyone's day better, and for some odd reason, I want to make her laugh and have her all her attention focused on me.

It's been a week since Gloria Morelli died in a plane accident. She was heading to Washington to join Damiano on a business trip. The ones at fault are the Navarros. They've planted a bomb on the private jet.
Damiano is out for their blood, but it's Ray who worries me. She hasn't left her room, she doesn't eat or talk. She hasn't even cried yet.... it's as if she's completly shut down, leaving her body on autopilot, completly numb of all emotion.
We're best friends yet she doesn't let me in. Not when I try to talk to her, not when I try to feed her and she refuses, not even when I hold her tightly in my arms at night, because it's the only way she'll fall asleep.
