Alice was all by herself in her room. Her thoughts were clouded. It was unbearable of knowing that she is all alone, but with her two childhood friends by her side.

"Alice, you in here?" A voice asked, as she didn't even bother to answer the door. As it appeared, it was Eugeo.

"Hey. I figured you would be here." He said, as he sat across from her. No one spoke until it was Alice who broke up the silence.

"So... did you both talk? I mean, you and Kirito. Did you speak your minds?"

The young swordsmen nods, confirming, "We did. Kazuto felt really bad about it. Although, I feel I'm the selfish one here.

I... I was the one who traumatized him, unknowingly that my choice to become the Blue Rose Sword had an upsetting, unfair consequence that brought him back to his SAO days.

I didn't mean for him to have a terrible weigh on his shoulders. Some friend I am."

"Hey! Don't talk like that. You just wanted to protect him, that's all it is to it. To me, that's a courageous act, I assure you.

Kirito doesn't hate you for that, Eugeo." Alice complimented, trying to reassure him that his choice wasn't all in vain.

"But.. Alice, I was the one who made that choice. It was all me." Eugeo said.

At the same moment, it was Kazuto who was listening into their conversation. True, it was wrong to listen, but his curiousty couldn't handle it any longer.

He wants to hear in Eugeo's words, to hear what he had to say about the emotional talk between them to Alice.

She was their childhood friend in the Ruild Village, they basically grew up together, as that Kazuto's flughtlight memories remained locked away and he basically forgotten their childhood bonds.

Maybe it was the selfish wish that Kazuto wanted them to be in the Real World, to able reconnect with them, just like their childhood days.

"Eugeo... it's never your fault. Alice is right, please have faith in us. Oh, right. Trust. I had a tough time with that subject too.

I need to have confidence within myself." Kazuto thought to himself.

"So, what you really want, Eugeo? It seems odd of you of not just talking to me. What else was on your mind?" Alice asked him.

He took a deep breath before telling her . "This might be in total shock and surprising to you, but I really wanted to tell you something. Something important that I wasn't able to tell you back at the Underworld.

Alice... I love you. I've always had been, but I was actually afraid if you would reject my feelings for you, because that you were my best friend and all-"

But to his total shock, Alice simply kissed him on the lips, which Kirito's eyes widen, watching the scene unfold in his very household.

He tiptoed back to his room, closing the door behind him, as he slide down on his back, as if it was totally embarrassed about watching his best friends kissed.

"Ok, ok. I hope that I didn't mention to them tomorrow morning that I overheard them. They wouldn't be that irate that I listened into their conversation right?

What possibly go wrong?" He said, sweating nervously.

The next morning, Eugeo was all ready awoke up, as that to be surprised that Alice was sleeping in his bed.
