Time skip to when KATNISS is in 4th grade!!!!
PEETA POV!

As I walk to my locker that is right outside my class room I hear laughs and look down the hallway and see two girls laughing with katniss. katniss beautiful everdeen. I have loved her since I first saw her in my backyard years ago.
Wait, those girls aren't laughing WITH katniss, they are laughin AT katniss. just as the biggest girl goes to punch katniss I run up, In front of katniss and say
"You shouldn't of done that."
She pulls her fist away from my grip and says
"Oh, well if it isn't loser mellark. what do you think your doing? I can bash your head In to if you would like!"
"LEAVE HER ALONE!" I shout as I point at katniss,
"Katniss is nothing but sweet kind and beautiful but you can't see that past all of the ugliness you are! Leave her alone, or so help me!"
"What are you gonna do? Bite me?" She laughs.
THATS IT! I have had enough! as she goes to punch me I grab her wrist and twist it until she cries.
"This is for insulting me!"
Then as she try to shove me into the locker I duck and she goes flying into a locker.
I shove her onto the ground at don't let her get up
"And this is for being mean and trying to hurt katniss!"
I pick up a folder that was laying on the floor, I dropped it when I went to save katniss, and hit her on the head with it. she screams but not in pain, in anger.
I wanted to beat her head so hard, but I don't want to get in trouble.

Just then she flips me and I land on my back. she gets on top of me and is about to punch me when a teacher comes out of her room
"HEY!! You! Get off of him"
I exhale, knowing that I won't get punched.
She grabs the big girl who was about to punch me and drags her to the principals office.
As I stand everyone leaves that was gathered, and than it is just me and katniss in the hallway. she runs up and hugs me and I hug her back. she places a hand on the back of my head, almost in a cradling matter, as we hug.
"OW!"
"What what?"
I pull away from the hug. she does to, and we both see her hand covered in my blood. I scream and she rushes to my side and helps me to the nurse.
as the nurse fixes the cut on the back of my head, which luckily didn't break my skull, katniss sits there right next to me. she looks worried the whole time and I want to tell her it's ok, but i just, didn't have the courage to talk to her.

The nurse says that for the rest of the day I Should just stay at her office because I lost a lot of blood and it isn't safe for me to move around and walk. I have a giant headache so that is ok with me.
Katniss asks the nurse if she can stay with me. I thought the nurse would of said no but she actually said yes! She said
"He needs calmness, but he seems pretty calm around you. plus, his family can not make it in to see him. I will let al of your teachers what is happening."
"Ok thank you"
I lay there motionless, blinking and breathing of course, katniss turns back around towards me. as I look into her beautiful gray eyes I realize, again, she is beautiful.

KATNISS POV

As I turn back around both me and peeta look into each other's eyes, and,not the first time, I realize he is so handsome. I blush as he smiles and his blue eyes squint the tiniest bit.

The rest of the day I feed him soup, read his favorite book to him, watch movies, and best of all, stroke his hair as I sing to him to help him take a nap.
I care so much about this peeta mellark, the peeta Mellark who saved me from a bully, the peeta Mellark who I love.
