Katniss Pov
"Mom?!" Peeta says shocked
I have never seen this woman before but I'm guessing it's his mom. Wow this is awkward.
" Peeta, what, are, you, doing?????"
" mom, this is my girlfriend, Katniss everdeen"
What?? He never said anything about me being his girlfriend, but don't get me wrong, I would love to be his girlfriend.
I wave and smile slightly at her
" hi ma'am" I say, shakey, still with no clothes on.
" I know what this looks like but please here me out, me and Peeta were here and it was getting very hot. I asked if he wanted to go swimming but soon enough both of us realized we didn't have bathing suits. He could of worn his clothes but he didn't want to ruin them, he didn't want you to get upset. Now I know what your going to ask, 'who are you and why don't you have clothes on'.
Well.... "I sit down and take a deep breath, looking down at my hands than back up at peetas mother.
" I am Katniss everdeen, I am telling you this because I want you to trust me and see me for who I am. When I was young, my mother ate berries that poisoned her. I was a scared little girl and had nothing else to do but to watch her die in my lap. A year or 2 later my father left me, taking my sister with him. I was left stranded, alone and afraid. I had met Peeta a while before my father left. He helped me get food and not starve by giving me the bread that had burnt in the oven. I couldn't thank him enough. After that, I was bullied in school, but Peeta stuck up for me. I have no place to go and no family. Nothing to offer and no future, so if you reject me, I understand, because I am not like you, I am broken, with no chance of being fixed." By the end of that I am sobbing and catching my breath. It was a lot to relive through. His mother just stands there. Than she says the unexpected....

HELLO EARTHLINGS. I'm so sorry I haven't updated in forever. First my iPod was broken and then we went to Seattle for a week and the wifi was horrible so nothing would load😫but it was beautiful there. I love you all so much and am so thankful to have you guys in my life. Thank you my lovelys❤️
