Swim

Peeta pov!!

It's early and ever one else in the house is asleep. As I look out my window I see katniss walking down the street. With nothing else to do I put on my boots and quietly follow behind her. I know this sounds weird and like I'm a stalker but I can't help it she is so beautiful. I have to duck behind bushes now and then cause I don't want her to know I'm following her. At least not yet, after going threw the gate and hiking a trail for what feels like forever, we reach a meadow. It is gorgeous and so calm there. I sit down behind a bush and relax. I keep going over in my head what I should say to her. Then I finally just get up, she is sitting on a big rock looking at the water, her back turned to me. I take a few steps forward.
"H...hi"
She turns around surprised, not saying anything.
"It...its beautiful out here"
She nods, still taken back.
"But you know, it isn't as beautiful as this girl I know."
She looks intrigued and motions for me to sit down saying "oh really?"
I look down at her wrist noticing the cuts. Her eyes follow my gaze and she covers them with her hand.
"This girl, she has shining brown hair, and crystal grey eyes, her smile is like the sun, and she takes everything head on, not afraid of anyone."
"I think I know this girl" she giggles.
"Oh I think you do" I laugh
"Well then, would you like to go swimming in the stream?"

" but I don't have a bathing suit" I reply
"It's ok, you can either swim in your clothes, or underwear, the water is warm and perfect for swimming."

"Sounds amazing. I would swim in my clothes but mother would kill me if I ruined them, you don't mind if I swim in my underwear? Do you?" I blush in embarrassment. but as I turn around towards her she is already in her underwear and bra. Woah!
"Not at all" she laughs.
Wow she is really open. I like that.
I take off my clothes and we jump in. Can I just say this is the most fun I have had in a while!!! We swam with the fish, we had a handstand contest, she won. and I showed her how to make a necklace out of stone and rope. I gave her the one we made together, it has a little crystal looking rock on it.

It's been an hour or so and me and Katniss are still in our underwear cause we are still wet. We are so close. right now we are sitting on the rock, her hand in mine as she leans on my shoulder, she looks up at me and asks
"Peeta, what are we?"
"Well I guess your my girlfriend"
We both smile and right as im about to lean in and kiss her we hear a crack of branches and I can't believe who came out of the woods.
