The days were more blurry as time continued it's never faulting march. Wednesdays and Thursdays merged together into a conglomerate and Y/N couldn't remember when Monday came, but there he was, staring at a calendar.

November 16th.

The calendar was long, underneath the month of November was December, and there, circled in red ink, was the day of the Blood festival.

Technoblade hadn't made it subtle that he was well prepared for the blood festival. He swore to make it enjoyable. Not just for the guests but for he himself and his small group of friends. A small group of friends Y/N had found himself stuck in for the past few years.

Y/N turned his back to the calendar to be met with a mirror. A pristine clear mirror, devoid of all imperfections and a flawless golden frame full of elaborate designs.

The large mirror made Y/N feel small, and it's lack of faults reminded Y/N of his own flaws.

His clothes were simple and scruffy. He had only woken up 4 hours ago and had been almost bombarded with errands and jobs to do as he opened his bedroom door. He wasn't ready to start running around ordering guards and maids alike to what post they would be stationed at, what students would be taken for combat practice in the training grounds, what guards would go on patrol and where and trying to keep up with the business of Technoblade and Ranboo's daily lives.

It was always a rush to keep up. Like a race but no matter how fast you run, everyone was always in front, and the finish line never in sight.

Despite many days being rushed and messy, today was quieter in comparison. Y/N had to prepare for the start of their tour around the neighbouring kingdoms to celebrate the ever approaching Blood Festival.

God it's going to a tiring trip. Y/N could already feel the headache.

Where were they going first anyways?

Y/N flinched as the sound of a group of workers echoed around the marble and quartz. He gasped in a breath before turning around and tapping a waiter on the shoulder.

The waiter was dressed in a classic tuxedo with a scarlet tie.

"Hey. What time is it?" Y/N questioned. The waiter pulled up his sleeve to show his watch, pulled over his black gloves.

"It's 10:07AM, sir."

Y/N sighed shallowly. "Thanks,"

He begun to walk away from the waiter. 'Thank god, I still have some time'. He chuckled breathily 'I guess I lost track looking at that calendar---'

Echoes of Y/N's footsteps murmured back in his ears as he closed into the west of the castle made only for blood royalty, though others were allowed with consent from blood royalty.

He passed by the balcony in which Technoblade had announced the fair, the preview for the blood festival that spanned for about a month.

Y/N groaned internally as he picked up the pace, Ranboo and Technoblade had a tight schedule. And even being minutes behind being ready to be escorted out of their sleeping quarters could have terrible repercussions.
