Ginmione Oneshots

Christmas at OotP HQ

(set in Hermione's 5th year)

Hermione woke up early that morning, earlier than usual. Today was Ginny's birthday. Everyone was at Grimmauld Place already since it was the summer holidays but no one was up yet. Hermione had something special for Ginny and had got her something she was sure Ginny would like But she still had her doubts. 

Hermione had hidden it as it was quite large and went to go and get it when she heard rustling downstairs. She rushed upstairs quickly and brought the huge box down. She put it down at the foot of Ginny's bed and debated whether she should stay or not.

Finally, deciding that the nerves were too much, she went downstairs to the kitchen to find Sirius, Tonks, Remus, Mr Weasley and Mrs Weasley already there. They all wished her a Merry Christmas when Tonks said

"You're up early," 

"Oh, I couldn't sleep,-"

"And you didn't want to see Ginny's reaction in case she didn't like what you got her." Remus added.

"How-?"

"I was the same with Sirius," as the two held hands.

"Right," And Hermione sat down as Mrs Weasley plated up her food when she asked," What did you get her?"

"I think you'll find out,"

and as if it was all timed, there was a scream from upstairs that sounded either like Ginny or if Fred or George decided to scream like a girl.

"What's happening?"  Mrs Weasley looked concerned but Sirius laughing went

"That's a scream of joy Molly,"

A flash of ginger hurtled down the stairs jumping on Hermione onto her laps with such velocity that they both fell down backwards still on the chair.

"I think Ginny liked it 'Mione" Tonks chuckled.

"What was it though?," Mrs Weasley still looked confused but it was answered when Ron ran down the stairs into the kitchen with a broomstick in his hands., promptly followed by the other boys.

"Who the bloody hell got Ginny a Silver Arrow?"

Hermione who had gotten up, Ginny still attached to her in a koala hug turned red when everyone looked at her.

"Hermione, that's incredibly nice but you didn't have to waste your money like that."

"I didn't waste it, I wanted to show my girlfriend how much I love her and my parents agreed to buy. They prefer antiques so they got this when I told them it was one of the best."

"I LOVE YOU SO MUCH!" Ginny finally yelled as she smothered Hermione's face in kiss, from her eyelids to her lips to her forehead. She eventually settled in Hermione's neck as everyone sat down for breakfast looking at Ginny's broomstick.

"This isn't fair," Fred whined," we're older and much better looking but Ginny's got a girlfriend before us and she's got a girl who spends everything on her."

Mrs Weasley took this opportunity to chide them, "Well maybe if you studied harder and were smarter instead of causing trouble all the time then a girl might have actually fancied you."

"And you're not the prettiest," Ginny added, voice slightly muffles as her head was still buried in Hermione's neck.

"Says you"

"I'm the one with the hot girlfriend who also happens to be the brightest witch of the age and extra bonus, she's Harry Potter's best friend."

Hermione smiled,

"AWW, thanks Harry,"

"What, oh yeah, right, no worries, you are my best friend" Harry started who had been talking to Ron about the Arrow."

"So I should date Harry then?" George smirked.

"No thanks George, I've got my eyes on another Weasley, " Harry smiled at Ron.

"Enough, we need to eat, " Mrs Weasley served the newcomers food and had to physically pry Ginny off of Hermione's lap as she refused to do so herself.

"You can thank her later," she said as she pulled on Ginny's arms. They ate their breakfast, Ginny still sitting so close to Hermione, she was practically in her lap as she leant her head on the other's shoulder.
