Chapter 7

CADIS ETRAMA DI RAIZEL'S POV

~900 YEARS EARLIER~

'Loneliness,Sadness and even emptiness were all I have for now..'

Those were the emotions that I've been feeling after my life begins as the noblesse whom always stay to the lord of the Lukedonia,where I live and away from human's society and to their modified humans from Union.

"I'll be back in the right time Raizel and I hope at that time..You'll hate humans.."

I won't say that I really missed him I just somehow wanted to see his face either him to annoy me at all time of the things that I liked,but he was gone off somewhere far away like he ran away from our home,our place to stay away from danger.

"I hope that I can find the happiness that the others already have.."

"Then,why don't you just stay at the Kingdom with me?"I don't have to turn around to face that man since I already knew who owns that voice as he stood beside me on the balcony on my mansion.

"What brings you here?"I asked as he chuckled.

"Just wanted to visit you since you haven't visiting me at the Kingdom..You seem down again..Seriously,why don't you just live at the Kingdom? You can have all you want fun,money,women and even a good room to stay.."He said with a smile.

"I refuse."I said as he chuckled.

"You really won't even I tell you,huh.."He said as he rest his right hand on my shoulder.

"Remember this.."He said in a serious tone as I listen to him.

"If you find that happiness don't ever let go of it,okay? Because you really aren't smiling even a little and even once on me.I'd like to see you smile even I die though..After all,you're like brotherly to me,Raizel."He said as he closed eye smiled at me.

'What's with him? Why is he saying this things to me?'

'Happiness? How can I be able to find happiness when it's already century that I've been living..Is that 'happiness' would ever come to me?'

After day by day I started visiting the lord of Lukedonia once in a month as what he requested and he keeps telling me about the happiness he wants me to have which I really don't still get it at all.He even told me the secret about the origins of the tailed fox clan of high-ranking nobles.

And then,Frankenstein appeared a phoenix who have the power above than the nobles have,he was quite talented and useful for me,but I won't force him if he doesn't want to work or under on my control.He does have many troubles that he make and kill bunch of guards under the lord's rule and when he was in trouble once I took him and make him work under me as a butler as the lord of Lukedonia accepted this and he then later became under my blood pack.

After that incident that the other nobles have mistakenly took especially the lord's daughter.Frankenstein and I still followed what I planned and he lived on his own until the day comes that I'll be able to come back awake again for 820 years under a coffin.

After that 820 years of sleeping over a coffin.I went out to roam around the city and found myself brought to a kid center school which I meet a little (h/c) haired girl who sat beside me on the bench of their playground and started talking to me,she was (Y/n) Himari and found out that she was the last living survivor of the Himari clan of the tailed fox nobles from Lukedonia centuries ago.

She was nice and quite playful kid that became my friend,but whenever she touch my face and gets close to me.I get all of those weird feelings that I haven't felt before for decades and just now.

'Is this what the lord of Lukedonia was saying? The happiness? Was be with her? To feel her warmth and be this close to her?'

"Mr.Rai smile even once,okay?"She said as my eyes widened and I could feel my eyes were tearing up and a simple genuine smile was formed in my lips as she then finally smiled back at me.

'I guess you were right after all..I truly found my happiness with this little girl..Even I have to wait for hundred or even thousands of years just to be with her.I would no matter what it takes for me to be with her..'

"Say,(Y/n) do you want to marry me someday?"I proposed as her eyes widened and chuckled a bit.

"Mhm! I want to marry you someday when I grow old Mr.Rai! You're really nice to me.."She said with a genuine smile which I could feel the frozen heart that I have started beating for the first time.

'This is real not illusion neither I am dreaming..I finally found it the happiness that I've been longing..'

Happiness is not just with a thing neither a place,but also could be found to a person no matter what's the problem or the condition of it..Even age,life standards and sexuality is it we can all have..We can choose either to break that rules and against just to be with our happiness or just to keep ourself lock down but we would never achieve that happiness without to take a risk.

'Burden? Hindrance? Consequences? Failure? Those are just thoughts that you've been overthinking without doing anything and even take risk to achieve that thing or that someone you wanted to have and waited for hundreds,thousands of years..'

"Thank you,thank you for finally coming into my life for centuries.."I said as I embrace (Y/n) into my arms.

"(Y/n)..?"I called out as she hummed in respond.

"What is it,Mr.Rai?"She asked as I looked at her while stroking gently her hair.

"I wanted to be in your arms,always.."
