Memories

Yn's hands' were resting on my bare chest. She was so lost in me and so was I. I was holding her waist with one hand and my other hand was on bed. Suddenly, yn's hair made way to her face. I curved them back at her ear. She got in senses and aparted with a jerk.

"I.. I'm sorry. Mujhe pata nahi tha ki aap.. ", she said facing towards the other side.
"Ki mai.. Kya?", I asked in a teasy way after wearing the shirt.
"Aap vo... ", she said while gesturing but I was in the mood to irritate her so I decided to pretend.
"Mai woh.. Kya?", I asked with a serious expression. Yn got angry.
"Aapko pata toh hai sab", she replied with irritation and was about to go but I interrupted, "Tum kuch batane wali thi na". She faced towards me with a confused expression and asked, "Mai kya batane wali thi aapko".
"Mujhe kya pata. Tum bataogi toh pata chalega na. Abhi room mein kuch batane hee toh aayi thi mujhe", I said.
"Acha woh... ", and she took a big pause in thinking pose. She then reacted as she remembered.
"Bhul gayi", she replied with a fake wide smile.
I rolled my eyes at that.

I stepped out of my room and unintentionally heard yn and bhabhi's convo.
"Yn, kal Chachi bohat tareef kar rahi thi chicken ki. Keh rahi thi ke kuch guest aane wale hai toh aaj bhi wahi banaye. Tum wash kar dogi na?", bhabhi asked with an evil smile. I looked at yn, she was in full mood to argue but I don't want her to do that so.
"Yn", I called her.
She looked at me and I gestured that I heard everything.
She started moving towards me but bhabhi interrupted, "Yn.. Chicken?"
"Woh kya hai na bhabhi, Riyaz mere husband hai aur unko shayad meri zarurat hai. Mujhe iss sabse zyada unki chinta hai", she replied and left.

"Yn, chalo bahar jaate hai kahi", I made an effort.
"Bahar kahan pe?", she asked.
"Actually, mera ek best friend hai Mohit. Uska aaj performance hai. Woh ek singing competition ke liye select kiya gaya hai. Actually, team k hisaab se jaaya karte hai. Usne mujhe Bohat force kiya but mujhe singing ka S bhi nahi aata islye usko individual hee karna pad raha hai. Tumhe interest hai na singing mein?", I asked with a smile.
"Pehle tha, ab chod diya", she said while thinking about something. Anyhow, she agreed and we went as audions. We enjoyed a lot but yn was little lost, don't know why.

Yn's POV

This place where Riyaz bought me is connected directly to my heart because I sang my first song here, I was proposed by Addy here and we also planned a wedding here but some dreams are just dreams, they never come true. Kabhi halaath waise nahi hote, kabhi apne nahi maante aur shayad hee kabhi woh insaan hee hamare saath na ho. While thinking about this, a tear slipped.

"Yn, tum ro kyu rahi ho?", Rii asked.

Inki nazarein toh hamesha hee mujh par rehti hai. Mai kya kar rahi hoon, kaise kar rahi hoon, kyu kar rahi hoon, saari panchayat chahiye inko toh par ek baat toh hai, yeh dil ke bohat ache hai.

"Song bohat zyada emotional hai islye", I lied with a smile.

Rii took me to cafe.
"Ek baat puchu? Aap bura toh nahi maanenge na?", I made an effort.
"Pucho", Rii said.
"Aaj aap mujhe bhabhi se bacha kar kyu le aaye. Mai apni situations ko handle kar sakti hoon. Mujhe kisi ki help ki na zarurat hai aur na hee aadat", I said.

Rii's POV

Mujhe toh laga tha ki yeh khush hogi, maine iski help kee but yeh toh aise keh rahi hai ki isko na meri help ki zarurat hai na aadat. Aise kaise bol diya isne. Yaar, koyi thank you kehta hai par yeh kya ajeeb hai. Huh? Mai bhi asli wajah kyu batau ise.

"Mujhe koyi pagal kutte ne nahi kaata ki mai tumhari help karu. Mai toh bas apni help kar raha tha. Mujhe koyi shauq nahi hai raato'n mein uth kar tumhari seva karne ka", I said.

Yn's POV

We went back to home. After freshening up, I went into kitchen.

"Aagayi maharani", Chachi said rolling her eyes. I just ignored her. She started checking dishes.

"Chicken kyu nahi bana aaj?", she asked with anger.

"Woh kya hai na Chachi ji. Maine yn se kaha tha chicken wash karne ko but usne kiya hee nahi. Aur aap meri halath toh jaanti hee hai", bhabhi said pretending.

"Yn, kyu nahi wash kiya tumne?", she asked widening her eyes.

I was about to say but she again continued, "Abhi kardo". I got furious but she left after saying that.

I opened the tap forcefully.

Aisa chicken wash karungi ki next time se kahenge, rehnede yn. Hum khud kar lenge. Ek minute mai kar hee kyu rahi hoon. Kitna bhi karlo in sab ke liye. Rahungi toh mai buri hee.

Suddenly, someone closed the tap.
"Yeh sab karne ki koyi zarurat nahi hai", Rii said in a tight voice.
"Riyaz but... ", I was saying but he held my wrist and started pulling me protectively towards the room.
"Kya hogaya? Yn ko kahan le jaa raha hai tu. Kaam keh do toh maut hee aa jaati hai logon ko", Chachi said looking at our hands.
"Kal yn ka exam hai. Usko padhna hai. Aaj humlog bahar bhi wahi kaam se gaye the. Ek baar yn ka exam khatam hojaye, uske baad dekhenge", Rii replied and took me to the room.

"Riyaz, maine kaha na. Mai handle kar lungi", I said widening my eyes.

"Mujhe pata hai kaise karti tum handle. Argument karke beth jaati. Hamare ghar mein raayi ka pahaad bante der nahi lagti. Yeh baat pata nahi tumhare palle kab padhegi. Bhabhi ko kuch bolti toh woh jaa kar Chachi ko bolti. Aur Chachi lagati phone seedhe Dubai, Mamma ko aur saari baat bol degi mirch masale laga kar. Tumhare oopar sab taang dete apni bandukhe aur mai nahi chahta aisa kuch ho. Mai jaanta hoon apne ghar walo ko islye tumhe samjha raha hoon. Reserve raha karo unse", Rii explained.

"Riyaz, mai kaise reserve rahungi? Ek ghar mein rehte hai joint family hai. Sab ko dekhna hota hai. Sasural hai yeh mera", I said with irritation.
