How her friends almost found out about her father being Remus Lupin and that's he's a wizard-

Because of her father being Remus John Lupin, Valerie never let her friends watch the Harry Potter movies, she did let them read the books.

It was a bright and sunny Autumn day. The leaves were turning beautiful colors of red and orange and were falling to the ground.

Valerie's friends, Beatrice Snicket, Lillian Intrum, and Janice Brian laid on a picnic blanket, with red and white stripes. It had rained the previous night so they couldn't just lay on the grass.

They were having a little picnic. Beatrice brought sandwiches, Lillian brought apples (most of them were red but she brought two green ones because Valerie prefers them better than red), Janice brought pretzels, and Valerie brought cookies.

They were eating on the picnic blanket. They were having small talk but they mostly focused on eating. They had been friends for forever, they didn't have to talk, they knew almost everything about each other. Just simply being together was nice.

Janice was the first one to be done. She started rolling in the grass. After a couple of second she just laid there and immediately sat up, then she jumped back over to the picnic blanket. "It's wet! I have wet grass all over me!" she cried.

They all laughed at the near crying girl. Lillian rolled her eyes but couldn't hide the grin that appeared on her face. "Stop being so dramatic, drama Queen."

Lillian finished after she said that. She laid down and started to eat some pretzels. She was just staring at the clouds. "Hey, that one looks like a giraffe!"

We all looked over to a cloud that looked like an oval with a long bump in it. "Yeah, I can see that." Beatrice confirmed.

Valerie finished next and laid down by Beatrice. Beatrice took her finally bite and laid down too.

Lillian had been borrowing Valerie's Harry Potter books because she had been interested in it because they were not aloud to watch the movies.

"Yknow, if your dad last name was Lupin, then you could've been Valerie Lupin, and you would've been friends with Harry Potter and I would be friends of a friend of Harry Potter and I would've been famous."

They all nodded apart from Valerie. At the mention of her dads last name being Lupin, she froze. Could they know?

She spaced out for a while when Lillian brought her back by speaking to her, "Val! Val! Earth to Val! Is anybody home?"

Valerie rolled her eyes playfully. "Yea I'm back to life, thank you."

They continued to mess around and play around until the sun almost set.

Little bonus because I'm feeling nice

It was about 9:00 and the sun was about to set. They were walking back to Janice' house when the sun started setting. They were at her house so they started playing on the driveway. Valerie felt piped and did the splits. Janice' father, Adam, came out. "Hey, mister Brian." They all said. He waved back.

Janice went by and hugged Lillian, then Beatrice, then, finally, Valerie. She looked back at all of them, still holding Valerie's hands, and said "Love you guys, bye!" They all said it back. Janice let go of Valeries hands and went inside, and the rest of the quadruple, now trio, walked to Beatrice's house. They messed around, they started to get to that point that Valerie called "Drunk of sleep deprivment" or "Drunk on Tiredness."

Her and her friends get to this point where they're really stupid when they are tired. Valerie also gets a lisp when she gets really tired which is like a week living on 28 hours of sleep.

They were outside and they watched the sunset. Beatrice laid down next to Valerie on the driveway. Valerie looked at Beatrice and Beatrice turned to her. Valerie blushed and looked away to see Lillian in front of them blocking the sunset. "Young love"

"You little-" Valerie raced after her down the neighborhood saying "YOU WANNA DIE? DO YOU HAVE A DEATH WISH!"

Beatrice giggled at them and watched them until they came back to her. It was very amusing to watch their friendship. One minute they could be cuddled up and the next they could be wanting to playfully kill each other. It was insane and it's crazy how they haven't killed each other yet.

When they got back to Beatrice, her dad, Nick, had come out of the house. They waved at him and Beatrice followed him inside. Next stop: Lillian's house.

When they got there it was pretty late and the sky was turning purple. They immediately went in because Valerie insisted on going out through the back because she knew a shortcut. They walked to the opposite side of the house and went into their backyard. Her dog, Vincent came outside with them. They bounced on the trampoline for a bit before Valerie really had to go.

They went back onto the patio in the backyard. Valerie sat on the side walk thing and Lillian sat by her aswell. They watched the stars. Valerie leaned her head on Lillian's shoulder and Lillian leaned her head on Valerie's.

Vincent came up to them and cuddled up near them.

Lillian said "We're gonna be friends forever." Valerie did her best to nod her head in agreement but it was hard. Lillian got the message.

They started to lean down. When they laid down they cuddled closer. Vincent came close by and licked their faces.

Valerie sat up quickly and wiped her face. "Eww dog slobber." She said disgusted while trying to get it off. Lillian also sat up and laughed at her friend. "Shut up!"

Valerie eventually got it on her cool baby blue teal ish sweater. She got all off her face and turned back to Lillian. "I should probably be going." Lillian nodded and stood up. She gave her hand to Valerie who took a little while to grab and pull up.

They shared one last loving hug before Valerie broke it. "Now, go back inside and go to bed."
She received a "Yes, mom," in return.

Lillian went inside and yawned a 'good night' before going inside. Valerie went to the alley way near their house that nobody went in and apparated home.

Remus noticed the dog slobber on her shirt. "Did you go to Lillian's again?"

Valerie blushed red in the face. "Just for a minute, I went to everyones house after the picnic."

"Okay."

Valerie rushed to finish the conversation to go to bed. "I'm tired," insert fake yawn here "I'm gonna go to bed, love you, night."

She rushed to room when she felt the burning sensation on her arm. When she got there she rolled up her sleeve to reveal the dark mark on her left arm. "I should've never have trusted him!"

She said a charm that sent a message to the dark lords meeting. "Still no, never gonna say yes."
