This is the ideal life right? This is the correct way to be?

Thousands sit watching somefamilies in uncomfortable silence avoiding each others gaze embarrassed even scandalized others are groups of friends screaming, jumping for joy about the now clear relationship between their two favorite characters.

While some envy the closeness they hold wanting the same for themselves others sit repulsed by the notion, the closeness they crave is platonic, the diving they wish for is not into the steamy touch of another but into story books and hobbies of theirs.

The loving caring movements, caresses and words so many crave, the missing piece I'm so many peoples lives turned to a disconcerting display for an entire viewer bracket.

They market the ideal lovelife, the one you too can achieve if you watch their shows, they teach that your life will be perfect when you find your missing puzzle piece though your partner.

Yet as consumers grow, attend weddings and parties, and revive an increasing amount of snide comments on their relationship status they are meant to smile, laugh it off, and play the lonely lovesick victim.

It is our personalities fault if we haven't been asked out, we are torturing ourselves if we don't put ourselves out into the dating world as we are broken if we don't feel the romantic pull, we are lost if we think we never will.
