The Joui War;where countless samurai fought to protect the country from the invading amanto. They were at a great disadvantage due to all the advanced technology the enemy possessed. Even when faced against this never once did their soul's waiver. Especially when they still had four particular individuals who went down in history. Unfortunately, three of them were currently in a dilemma that changed the course of their lives.

In the midst of the battle, someone was busy healing the wounds of his comrades. He wore the classic clothes of a samurai. His name was Mochizuki Aito.

(A/N:first name is Aito, the clothes are like the Joui 4, except his being purple)

He had deep garnet hair which often got mistaken for the dried blood of the amanto.u Roughly standing at 170 centimeters tall. With a well built body for his age,  which didn't show through his clothes. His amber eyes had been losing its light, the only thing that kept him going was his only friends.

He wasn't with them for now since he got stationed at the base since he got injured not too long ago. It would take a few days for him to fully recover but Mochizuki knew the chances of that were close to zero. One of the samurai looked at him.

"Go rest, you shouldn't push yourself like you always do. If it wasn't for Katsura you would've been dead many times by now." The man said.

Which was true, he only retreated safely due to Katsura's help. The reason being that he normally came out of the battle full of cuts and slashes. He had a habit of using his whole body as a shield when he deemed necessary. The injury's didn't slow him down until he relaxed, but it still made him a popular target as it made the amanto thought they could get rid of him easily. Even though he wasn't part of the joui four his capabilities made him as valuable as the Joui 4.

"I know, though I can't help but feel uneasy." Mochizuki said, pacing back and forward.

"You're pretty close to them, aren't you?"

"That's right, we grew up together." He proudly said.

"A—"

Suddenly the door behind them opened, interrupting their conversation, revealing a samurai who was heavily panting with a panic expression.

"What happened?" One of the surrounding samurai asked.

"The enemy is destroying our allies  with ease! Shiroyasha and the rest are struggling to keep up...We require immediate assistance!"

The others looked uncertain about what to do, they knew that it's definitely suicide mission to go on. One option was to regroup and then fight, but they couldn't afford to lose them. Realizing this, Mochizuki clicked his tongue in frustration.

"Move out of the way!." Mochizuki rushed out of the base, quickly heading towards the battlefield.

Damnit, I should've trusted my instincts. Hopefully, they are fine.

A few minutes later, Mochizuki arrived at his destination. He immediately got ambushed by the nearby enemies; the Tenshouin Naraku. A whole mob of them appeared.

Why are they  here?! No wonder they are struggling. Does that mea—

One of them swung their weapon towards his head. Mochizuki swiftly responded by unsheathed his katana, paring the attack. Putting more strength into the katana made them stagger backwards.

Shit, I went right into their hands. They planned on sacrificing all of them just to kill me. Well, you know I'm not going down without a battle.

Mochizuki took the initiative charging straight into them. He immediately slashed the one in front of him. Like a signal five of them started to attack. In response he grabbed the weapon of the corpse and threw it to the nearest one. piercing through their body.
