After finding those documents Rosseau needed she was actually very nice. When we got to her place she allowed me to take shower and I've never felt better. My hair was nice and smooth. My body didn't smell dirty... it was amazing.

My leg somehow was still holding up, the stitches were still kept the wound closed. I have got to say, this has been the best part of this whole 'adventure' so far. I just wished that it stayed that way.

"Using the documents we've obtained from the train, Rousseau and I will pose as Nazi officers and infiltrate the Garrison," Crowley explained to Turner and Pierson. From outside we could hear German vehicles and voices.

"This way, gentlemen." Rousseau urged. She led us out this metal door and soon we were on a rooftop overlooking Paris.

"Oh wow," I whispered gently. Paris was absolutely beautiful to say the least. I bet it would look even better if there wasn't a war going on.

"The garrison," Crowley pointed over to what looked like a fortress. "Our contact there will supply us with explosives. And when we blow the gates, that'll be your signal to approach."

"We're counting on you," Rousseau nodded at us all.

"Alright, boys. Let's get ready." Turner said towards us.

"These Krauts ain't gonna give up easy." Zussman pointed out with a small shake of his head.

"I figured we can survive Pierson, we can survive anything." Daniels shrugged his shoulders.

"I fought alongside him at Kasserine. We should all be so brave." Crowley piped into the conversation.

"It won't be long now, mes amis. But first, we enter the wolves' den. See you there." Rousseau started to walk away. "Oh, and Y/n, we need to get you into character."

"Come again?" I asked back confused.

"I have some other matters to attend to. Crowley will lead you through the mission." And with that, Rousseau went back through the door.

I was taken back at what she had just told me. Just a moment ago Crowley was saying how she and he were going to be the ones pretending to be Nazi soldiers. Now, I'm the one going in?

"You're the worst person to be playing a Nazi solider," Zussman chuckled very lightly.

"How come?" Daniels asked confused. Zussman looked at me for the all-good sign. I nodded at him giving him his answer.

"Y/l/n is Jewish. Don't tell anyone, okay?" Zussman explained to Daniels.

"Oh shit, yeah, of course." Daniels nodded.

"Maybe this is why she allowed me to take a shower." I brought up.

"Maybe," Zussman chuckled once more and the three of us walked back into the building.

Before even walking in I was being pushed back outside. I looked up at who was pushing me and saw that it was Pierson.

"what are you-"

"Stop talking," he interrupted and closed the door.

"I'm sorry, excuse me?" I asked flabbergasted.

"I just... I wanted to talk for a moment before you leave." He scratched the back of his neck, like he was nervous or something.

"About...?"

"I just..." He looked at me, coming ever so closer. "Be safe... please."

"Are you okay?" I cracked a smile, "you're talking to a girl who ran right through a smoke bomb knowing damn well she can be shot."
