"Let's get you back to the tent to rest," Aiello said softly as we walked into camp.

"Today was a hard day, you did amazing," Zussman piped in. I smiled softly and looked at him. These boys, my best friends. They are my family. They were all brothers to me. Protecting and listening to me.

"Y/l/n!" I stopped in my tracks and let out a breath. I turned and looked at Pierson. "We need to talk." Before I could open my mouth to respond, Aiello took charge.

"With all due respect, Sargeant. She's had a rough day and she doesn't need you nagging at her making it worse." Aiello said. I watched as Pierson let out a breath, unsure how to respond.

"Just give her an hour," Zussman said eased the situation. Pierson nodded and walked away.

"I was expecting him to yell," Stiles brought up.

"Yeah same... that was... weird," Aiello held a confused look.

"Are we sure that was even Pierson?" Daniels asked.

"It's a different side of him. That's for sure," Zussman nodded and looked at me. I mouthed a thank you towards him.

"Anyways,"

We all made it back to our shared tent and I plopped down immediately on my coat. I blew a breath out of exhaustion and started to take off all the heavy bags and coats.

I laid down and rested my head against the pillow. I closed my eyes for a moment and let out a shaky breath. Today has been the worse day for me.

"You know, ever since the two of you got stuck in that basement, he's been bugging you a lot more." Aiello brought up.

"He's not wrong, you know. He pulls you off to the side a lot." Stiles agreed with Aiello.

"He is most likely yelling at her," Zussman tried to pull the conversation away.

"No... no, it's fine Zussman. It's better to tell them now than later." I breathed out and sat up.

"What do you mean?" Aiello looked at Zussman and then at me, with a confused expression. "Are you telling Zussman stuff and not me?"

"I told Zussman stuff because I knew you would freak out." I shook my head and then looked at Aiello. "Pierson and I... I think we're getting married?"

"Wait what?"

"When did that happen?"

"I could see it,"

"What the fuck, y/n? When were you even thinking about telling me this?" Aiello asked.

"I don't know, Aiello. I'm still not even a hundred percent sure I know what's happening." I confessed. Aiello let out a sigh and sat down on his cot in defeat.

"How could you even think to marry him? Out of everyone? I rather you marry Zussman for god's sake." Aiello said in disbelieve.

"Aiello, I'm not about to pour my feelings out on the ground right now. Just know that... under all that hard skin... there is someone sweet and caring underneath it," I said in a soft tone. I stood up and grabbed my jacket.

"I should head over to his tent," I told them before I left our tent. I needed to get out of there. I didn't want Aiello to keep pushing me into telling him absolutely everything.

As the air hit my skin I just shook my head. I knew at some point I had to tell Aiello what was happening. I was hoping that was going to be once I figured it out myself. I knew I was going to have to make it up to him.

Aiello's and I's relationship has been a bit weird ever since he told me about my parents. Which was roughly a week or more ago, I can't remember at this time. I was still working on myself trying to control my feelings. The reality to the fact is that I can't control what happens to them when I'm away.
