Natsu Dragneel owned a house in the city, a beautiful garden growing in his yard. He wasn't a farmer by any means so he always wondered how he even had the energy to maintain it. Or that was until he got to age 30 and became bored. But he still loved his quiet, peaceful, gorgeous garden. He needed someone to keep his garden in check for him during the summer season, he was grateful for his next neighbors though.

The Redfoxes were a lovely couple with one too many kids to count. Rich, wealthy you know, beautiful yet a strange family. Gajeel and Levy were no older than 37, 6 kids to count. Natsu had never met them but he always saw the youngest kids playing in the pool or on the beach behind their houses. They had 2 older children though, the high school buses and cars, stopping by or leaving the house.

"Ah, you need some help there? My oldest 2 do garden work as a summer job, I'm sure he can lend a hand." Levy had said one day when she spotted Natsu looking at his flowers and trees in disdain. He had agreed, hoping that this son of theirs was as good as them.

But instead he got their daughter, Juvia instead of their son, Rogue.

Natsu had woken up the first morning of June, feeling his stomach growl in hunger. The sun had risen beautifully, Natsu looking out the window to cars and clouds passing by. His ex wife, Lucy, wasn't there as usual, guaranteed out at Gray's house for the morning. He had come quite accustomed to waking up to an empty bed, loving and cherishing the emptiness of his home. Natsu made his way to his bathroom, stripping off his pale dull blue boxers and hopping in the hot water.

The steaming room had him hot and bothered, his wet manhood rising with every pelt of water against his skin. A knock at his door is what caught his attention. Getting up from the table, Natsu made his way to the front door, opening it to a beautiful young woman, familiar in the face. Almost pupil-less dark blue eyes, a round yet sharp face, pretty pink lips, a pointed nose and pale skin.

"Hey, I'm Juvia Lockser, Gajeel and Levy's daughter. They said you need help with your garden?" She smiles, mimicking the sun but her voice is quite bizarre for any young girl nowadays. Deep, velvety yet monotonous and distant. Natsu grins back, his confusion being replaced with understanding.

"Your brother is busy I see?" Natsu asks, stepping out onto the porch, almost towering over her. She was tall, a rare few inches under him, guaranteed from her father.

He noticed her cheeks turn a faint pink and he already knew why, deciding to save the teasing for the future. "Uh, yeah... if it's okay I mean. If it's okay to work for you I mean!" Juvia puffs out her cheeks, probably overthinking at the moment.

"Yeah it's fine, would you like to get started today? I have some plants I wanted to start on today if that's alright?" Natsu tilts his head in the direction of his garden on the side of his house. She nods her head, following him with her wide eyes.
