I sat in my room studying as bad girls club played on my tv , while the smell of my lit strawberry pound cake candle filled the room .
"BE WHO YOU AREEEE , FOR YOUR PRIDEEE" my older brother santanna came in my room
"santanna get outt" I frowned
"what's wrong baby sister" santanna sat on my bed
"I'm tryna study and you're being irritating" I rolled my eyes
"oh .. don't care"he laughed and I huffed "nah I'm just playing , how college going?"
"good actually,I have a test tomorrow and I don't know how I'm going to do" I sighed
"You gone do great I promise" he patted my back and stood up "good luck" he said leaving 200 dollars on my dresser
"santanna I don't need-" I got caught off by him closing the door and I got up walking out my room going downstairs
"santanna here" I tried giving him the money back
"Girl if you don't get the fuck out my face right now imma slap you"he sat on the couch pulling out his phone and I rolled my eyes and my grandmother walked through the front door with grocery bags
"Hey nana" I smiled
"Hey baby" she sighed sounding tired
Me and brother lived with my grandmother ever since we were 3 & 6 our parents died in a shootout,it was the right place wrong time . My brother doesn't live with me and my nana anymore , he has his own place but still come and check up on us & help around the house.

"hey boy .. whew I'm tired" she sighed walking in the kitchen putting the bags down
"Why you out this late nana I could of came with you"santanna
"It was just some late store runs I forgot somethings at the store earlier"she took the groceries out of the bags
"oh okay ,I'm finna head out"santanna stood up hugging me and I hugged him back
"love you be safe" I broke the hug
"Alright santanna be safe I love ya" my nana gave him a kiss on the cheek and a hug

after 30-45 minutes of helping my nana out I went back upstairs I had 2 missed FaceTime calls from my best friend Simone so I decided to call her back

"sooo you know how them sugar mommas and daddy's be following and texting you on Instagram"she started .
"Please don't tell me-YESS I GOT ME ONE and he brought us tickets to Miami for next week and you have no choice but to come"she cut me off .
"ehh I don't know ,I have a test tomorrow and lord knows how that'll go"I sighed "if I don't pass I'll have to retake it next week" .
"ummm first of all you're gonna pass the fuck."she said "second bitch you're gonna pass I know you are"she said setting up her phone
"We'll see I have to finish studying so I'll call you tomorrow"i picked up my MacBook
