"Here we are!" Armin exclaims while moving some branches away from the trail exit revealing the ocean and some palm trees on a rocky ledge.

𝐇𝐨𝐥𝐲 𝐒𝐡𝐢𝐭..

"I know right, it's gorgeous here."

𝐘𝐞𝐚𝐡 𝐢𝐭 𝐢𝐬.

"This place isn't very popular, but my grandpa brought me here for my 7th birthday and now I come all the time. You're the only person besides my sister I've brought here."

𝐓𝐡𝐚𝐭'𝐬 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐲𝐨𝐮.

"It's no biggie. I kinda felt I had to being you here for some reason."

"I'm not sure to be honest. Just a gut feeling." He replies with a sweet smile.

𝐆𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐤𝐧𝐨𝐰 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐥𝐨𝐥.

"Of course I am!" Pondering for a moment he says, "Well, how 'bout I show you around?"

𝐈'𝐝 𝐥𝐢𝐤𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭.

"Great! Follow me then."

𝐆𝐨𝐭 𝐢𝐭!

"Close by there should be a small body of water where we can see the sea urchins and small starfish."

𝐎𝐨𝐨𝐨, 𝐬𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐬 𝐜𝐨𝐨𝐥!

Chuckling Armin points somewhere and says, "See! Right here."

I go stand next to him and look.

𝐖𝐨𝐰, 𝐡𝐨𝐰 𝐚𝐦𝐚𝐳𝐢𝐧𝐠.

"I agree. I've always found sea life fascinating. I want to be a marine biologist when I'm an adult."

𝐓𝐡𝐚𝐭'𝐬 𝐚 𝐜𝐨𝐨𝐥 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐟𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧!

𝐍𝐩..

'𝘖𝘩 𝘨𝘰𝘥.. 𝘐'𝘮 𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘺 𝘧𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘩𝘪𝘮. 𝘛𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘪𝘴 𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘨𝘰𝘰𝘥.'

We spent hours just talking about sea life and went on a walk too.

"Hey, let's watch the sunset."

𝐎𝐤𝐚𝐲.

Sitting down on the sand we admire the setting sun while talking a bit more.

With our hands right next to each other I place my hand over Armin's and he jumps in surprise, but doesn't pull away, so I wrap my hand around his holding it.

"Hey Eren..?"

I give him a signal to continue talking and he pauses before saying, "C- can I kiss you?"

Obviously shocked I don't reply for a second, but when I process what he said I look at him and his face and ears are flaming red.

I start blushing as well, but nod with a nervous smile anyway.

As soon as he sees my answer he starts leaning in and I meet him halfway feeling his lips against mine.

His lips are slightly chapped, but not in a bad way and they taste like sweet necter.

A couple seconds later he pulls away and he's smiling just as much as me.

"Sorry, that was so sudden, but I was feeling bold." He laughs, nervously.

𝐓𝐡𝐚𝐭'𝐬 𝐚𝐥𝐫𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭, 𝐛𝐮𝐭 𝐰𝐚𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐚 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐨𝐧 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐚𝐬𝐤𝐞𝐝?

"Well, I wanted to tell you that I liked you, but I wasn't sure if you would feel the same way.."

𝐎𝐡.. 𝐖𝐞𝐥𝐥 𝐈 𝐝𝐨 𝐟𝐞𝐞𝐥 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐚𝐦𝐞.

His light up and he asks, "Really!?"

𝐘𝐞𝐚𝐡.

"Uhh, wanna go out then?"

𝐈'𝐝 𝐥𝐨𝐯𝐞 𝐭𝐨𝐨!

"Awesome!" He excitedly expresses while jumping on me for a hug.
