Goldriver has always been protective of kits and young cats. She is the kindest queen in RiverClan, having raised many, many, kits. One day, she goes for a walk and stumbles upon a fox kit. It's injured and hungry, Goldriver's queen instincts urge her to help it. She takes it back to camp, telling her clam she plans to raise it. Her clan is horrified at first, but can they accept the fox kit over time?
