That same evening, I met you again in the elevator of my building.
I was standing beside you in that closed space and my heart was thumping so vigorously inside my chest that I felt it would explode any second.
I was curious about what you were doing there but I thought you wouldn't recognise me, so I remained silent.
But you proved me wrong when you beamed at me when our eyes met.
"From the cafe right?" You asked breaking the thick silence and I just nodded.
"You live here?"
"Y-yeah," I replied timidly.
"I moved here two months ago. Let's catch up sometimes, we can be pretty good friends!" You said before the doors of the elevator opened and you walked outside.
And I just stood there, rooted to my place in a flustered state, still processing your words.
