As I was writing last night I started wondering, how do they eat? I'm sure its a simple task and I'm completly over thinking it but what fun is it to write a story and not put your own 2 cent in there.
What if the narwhals were going extinct because of the way they eat. Everyone should know that a narwhal has a horn on its head, therefor the unicorn of the sea. If you don't stop reading now and get out of my book. So here's what I'm thinking, narwhals use their horn to stab fish and they can't eat it cause they can't reach it. But I'm 30% sure that's not what happens.
Do they even use their horns for anything? There's this debate between a friend and I because we wonder if the narwhals use their horn for fighting off enemys or they use it for, like I said before, eating purposes or something like that.
What enemy does a narwhal have? I know that they live in the Artic but so do orcas, but orcas are everywhere, so is that the enemy? Narwhal .vs. Orca battle till.. well I'm not really sure what would happen. But don't narwhals travel in groups, I'm pretty sure that the narwhals would win.

Went on Wikipedia and found out it is not a horn but it's a tusk. But I think I'm still gonna call it a horn, because sometimes the internet doesn't put people's best interest first.I also searched up "facts about narwhals" and it turns out that some do die of starvation..... hold on (voice chokes up) I need a minute.................. ok it's ok I'm ok. They also get trapped underwater by ice but I don't really get that because if I had a tusk or horn or whatever I would ram the ice. Unless that would break my horn because then I would cry about not being a unicorn anymore.
Can narwhals live without their horns? Unless they do catch fish with it, (still haven't found out if they do) then the horn is just there for decoration. But thank God He put that decoration there for all of us (but mostly us squigglylines) to enjoy.
I'm laughing right now because what if a little girl was in love with unicorns and then saw a narwhal for the first time and thought that the narwhal had eaten the unicorn.
I'm just imagine some Sea World employee trying to explain to a little girl that narwhals aren't unicorns and say that unicorns aren't real and then take it back. But I was already crying by then.. I'm mean the little girl who I know nothing about and can not relate to in any way. Anywho STAND UP FOR THE NARWHALS (I think I'll sit)
