"Master Byakuya is... Dead...?" Toko widened her eyes, slowly raising her hands to cover her mouth, though she passed out a few seconds after. There was just too much blood. The others didn't have such a big difference in their reaction. They also were shocked. Especially since 24 hours didn't pass yet.

"This wasn't part of f-cking your deal, you d-mn teddy bear!" Mondo angrily clenched his fist. Not because he and Byakuya had been the closest of friends. But because the black and white colored robot didn't keep his promise. He killed the Ultimate Affluent Progeny too early.

"Wh-What are we supposed to do now...?" Aoi's eyes were wide, filled with tears. Whether it be tears of fear or anger, but they threatened to spill and run down her cheeks. "What if he killed Makoto too...? How should we know that he kept his promise...?"

"Everyone, let's not panick!" Kiyotaka stood straight, resisting the urge to start shaking himself. "Even though Togami died, there's still a high chance that Naegi is still alive." "He's right. We have to place everything on the bet that Makoto is still locked away somewhere." Celestia agreed, nodding her head.

"Ah, look at all them! Especially at the Ultimate Swimming Pro, Aoi Asahina! And Toko Fukawa even fainted! I love the despair on their faces, it makes them look so beautiful!" (Y/n) hummed, like a madman as she starred at all the monitors in the room.

The Ultimate Lucky Student on the other side was everything but happy. Though, her laugh made him feels somewhat warm inside. He liked seeing her happy, but he hated to see how much hope his classmates were loosing. 'It's a good thing that Celestia and Kiyotaka are still alive. They think like Kyoko...'

"Are you thinking about that purple haired detective again?" The mastermind huffed and sat next to the brown haired male, giving him a sweet smile. "Remember, you don't need her! I am here, and you don't need anyone else. Right? I'm the only person that you want around you."

He nodded, slowly and a bit hesitant. Though he got used more quickly to all this than he thought. Whenever the (h/c) haired female wasn't around, he would miss her company. Because she was still a really nice person to talk to, if she wasn't talking about killing people and bringing despair.

And again, whenever she talked to him or laughed, showing that she was still a normal human being with a beating heart and not just a psychopath, he began to feel really warm inside. He didn't like that. Not the warm feeling, but his heart that was beating really hard.

"I wanted to ask you something, Makoto!" Looking up as he heard her voice, said boy got ripped out of her thoughts again. "You wanted to ask me something...? Umm... Sure, what is it?" "Did you finally change your mind? You know, with helping me and going back!"

"I... Actually started thinking about what you said and..." Makoto didn't finish his sentence. Both of them already knew the answer, especially when he let his head sink down in shame. "You really want to help me? Aww, you're such a wonderful person!" She chirped, swinging her arms around him.

"Don't worry, not everyone will die. Only a few. Isn't that nice? And maybe, just maybe, you'll get to go outside again!" Her words actually reassured him a bit, for a reason that he didn't quite understand yet. "That sounds nice, thank you for having mercy with me." "Anything for you, my dear!"
