"You shouldn't have spoken so rudely to Natsu, Laxus." I said to him, who was walking at the very front, paving the way for the Thunder God's Tribe and me to pass through the streets of Magnolia which were bustling, full and crowded with people.

"You too, Freed, Evergreen, and Bickslow as well. Don't fan the wind at the fire. You guys know Natsu's character really well, he really likes to fight." I added.

Bickslow just laughed at my rambling. And as usual Freed didn't really care, instead he said, "Laxus is more important than Natsu."

As for Evergreen, "Oh come on Lucy. I know you like Natsu, but aren't you tired of constantly dealing with the trouble he makes? Every time he destroys something, you also get a part of getting scolded by the master, right?"

"W-what? I like him? N-no way I would!! And about the damage done, and getting scolded by master... that's a different matter..." I couldn't avoid the fact that I was always being scolded by the master. Honestly, I'm fed up too! Well but, Natsu's team wouldn't be complete without me, would they?

We're on the train now, which is surprisingly enough to be true, that the dragon slayers is very weak with vehicles.

"Hey, are you all right? If you're so weak with something like this, why are you taking the train anyway?" I asked Laxus which he seemed unable to answer with his current condition.

He was lying in the right corner, near the window, looking very weak. Freed started to put up a magic wall around Laxus with his Jutsu Shiki.

"What is the function of the magic wall you just draw?" I asked curiously.

“To reduce the vibration effect from the train movement, well at least it should stop Laxus from vomiting for a while…” Freed explained.

"You know, Lucy? We usually walk or use magic vehicles, in order to avoid the fact that Laxus's motion sickness from spreading out. But he chose the train this time, he said so that you can sit comfortably. As you knew that, in magic vehicles there is likely to be turbulent because the roads are uneven." Evergreen said in answer to my previous question.

"Yes, baby, to be comfortable~!" Bickslow added. I'm glad he's not using his dolls right now. Being near the doll brings me back to our fight that I wouldn't have won without the help from Loki, or the one at Tenrojima seven years ago, I'm pretty sure we wouldn't have gotten past if Freed hadn't been sculpted by the sight of sexy women surrounding him.

Wait, does Freed even like girls in the first place? He adores Laxus so much that we don't pay much attention to Freed's attraction to the opposite sex.

Realizing that he was being watched closely, Freed looked back at me, "Why the hell? Is there something on my face, huh?"

"Oh, not really, hehe, please don't mind it." I answered, then looked to my right side, seeing the view outside the train window.

"By the way, where are we heading out to anyway? You guys haven't told me the mission we're going to do." I asked, looking back at the Thunder God's Tribe.

Freed took out a piece of mission paper, which was handed to Evergreen and is read by her as well. "It says here that a strong mage is needed. That's all, and the reward is 5 million Jewels."

"Wow!! 5 million Jewel you say? It can pay my rent for years."

"Hey, we have to split the prize, remember? 5 million Jewels, since we fit 5 people, so each person gets 1 million Jewels." Bickslow interrupted.

"Yes - yes, I know."

Finally, Laxus looked relieved after he seemed tense to hold his stomach contents that wanted to come out while on the train earlier.

I have to admit, even Natsu lost on this one. During the trip he did not vomit even once. I have great respect for him.

After walking for a kilometer, we arrived at our destination. A very chaotic village, as if being hit by a disaster.

One of the residents noticed our arrival, and immediately ran to one of the houses. Soon he came back outside again, with an elder, walking guided by him on one side and a little boy on the other.

"Ah, welcome. You must be the mages from the guild who came to help us, right?" He started the conversation. "Hello, my name is Alerje, an elder in this village. This village has great respect for elders, you see." He added.

Laxus who had finished looking at the surroundings, whose complexion was now much better than after he got off the train, finally asked, "What's going on here? It looks like a mess everywhere."

The elder looked sad before explaining to us what had happened to his village, "A few weeks ago, not far from the village we are in, some mages came and built a place there. Then they came to our village and asked us, at first just food, over time they also ask for money, and what's worse is they take girls forcibly from their parent's hands."

He paused for a moment before continuing his story, "Our people don't have any magic with which to fight or defend themselves, because we are only mages whose power is used for farming. They also often destroy rocks from the top of the mountain, so that the rocks slide down into several people's houses."

"Fortunately there were no casualties, but many residents were seriously injured." Add the boy who helped the elder walk. He was as tall as Wendy, maybe the same age as Wendy (seven years ago). A boy with pastel green hair. He looks more mature than he looks, maybe because of what he's been through.

After we received an explanation from the village elders and also some residents, we went to one of the houses to sleep that night. Laxus and the others agree that we will take action in the morning, we too have just come down from quite a long journey after all.
