Apprehension *Hold*

chapter 4

Ellies POV:

there were tons of people gathered behind the yellow police tape that is at the moment blocking those from getting closer to whatever lies behind it.

I make my way towards the front of the crowd and i spot an officer.

"Um excuse me but what happened here, is everything okay?", i ask nervously.

The officer turned to me and says "young lady the missing boy from the news has just been discovered, dead ". He said sadness consuming him.

All i could do was gasp, i had to know more.

"Do you have any leads". I say.

" um well not yet no one saw anything, well so far thats what they claim ". He says.

"Jack we need you". Another officer calls from the far side of the lake.

The officer which goes by the name jack turns towards me and i nod in approval since he had a job to do. And jack ran to the officer that called his name.

I stayed around for awhile until i looked at my watch to see that i missed my first class on my first day of officially being a senior.

"great". I mumble under my breath.

I quickly left the crime scene and speed walked to the university, i knew i would be in so much trouble if i did not hurry.

I finally made my way to campus, still keeping my fast pace until i was knocked over, on to the pavement.

" Hey, watch where your going!" I exclaimed.

"Speak for yourself ". The stranger said annoyed as well.

I picked myself up staring at the stranger, and might i say he was really cute.

The guy seemed to be about a couple of years older than me. He was incredibly tall, my eyes where leveled with his chin. He had ocean blue eyes that seemed to shine in the light.

And oh boy was this guy well built. I could hint that he has abs, but i was not exactly sure.

"What are you looking at." he says snapping me out of my daze.

"I.... um...... nothing." i manage to stutter out. I could feel my cheeks heating up from embarrassment.

Im guessing he noticed so he gave me a small smile, which was perfect I might add.

" my names luke." he said trying to ease the awkwardness.

" um im ellie." i nervously say.

He stretches out his hand for me to shake it, i hesitantley do.

"Nice to meet you ellie, so where are you headed in such a rush that you bumped into me ". He asks while we make our way to the front entrance.

"I was trying to make it to the first half of my second class, but thats not going to happen so i guess im just going to be late." i say, speeding up my pace.

"What do you have for your second class." he asks, matching my pace.

"Um its." i take out the paper with all my classes listed on it.

" sociology with Mrs. Watkin, do you know where i could find that class." i ask, he nods his head with a smile on his face.

"You are in luck i happen to have that class for second, its just down this hall, she is really old so you can mostly chill in her class." he says while still smiling.

"Thats good to know i guess." i said, while returning a smile.

Did not get into any trouble. I made my way to the back of the class and of course luke followed.

There was something about luke, i mean i dont know, but im comfortable around him, maybe im just crazy...... maybe not.

Whats crazy though is i cant seem to shake what i saw today, who would kill an innocent boy, he Will never no love, never get married, no kids.

I  know that im never going to stop thinking about it until i solve the case, yeah thats exactly what im going to do.

Solve this damn case!!

So it begins.
