Chapter 1: A Pinch of Spyce

The fire lights up the abandoned warehouse as the four girls make it to a safe distance.
"So do you think he was in there?" The girl with pink hair asked.
"Honestly I'm not sure," started the girl with orange hair, "I got a bad feeling about this thing though."
"Hey check this out!" The girl with pink hair holds up her phone with a picture of a girl with an eye patch.
"Who is that?" Asked the girl with pigtails.
"It says she saved the world from a huge threat." The girl with pink hair looked closer at the image, "Rikka Takanashi? Why do you look so familiar?"

Rikka:

Every day for the past 3 months I had been spending time with Ruby, Weiss, Blake and Yang. They have all become such close friends of mine and I just can't believe what we had to go through to get to the point we were at. Though my power was slowly fading I would still go on missions with them, but I made sure I didn't get to deep into the missions so I could make time for Yuuta and my daughter Ruby. Apparently Japan has been pretty excitable lately since most of the mob bosses have been taken down out of no where, from what I heard there is a small group of girls who have been operating underground for years. Of course it sounds strange, but me getting actual powers became reality so I guess anything could happen. I guess if there is a secret group thank god they are keeping us safe. I just hope that my family can stay safe in this crime filled world.

I slowly sat up in bed and looked at Yuuta. He looks so sweet when he's not bonking me in the damn head. After getting ready I shoot a text to Ruby telling her I'll meet her at the cafe in a few minutes. Grabbing my keys I head down to the car. Yes I drive and I'm pretty good at it too. About 10 minutes pass when I reach the cafe. Stepping out I pull out my phone and text Ruby.
"Over here!" Ruby waves.
"Just you today huh?" I smile as I pull out my chair.
"Yeah, Blake and Yang had a thing and Weiss had to go with her sister."
"Well I'm glad to see you either way." I smiled
"Oh did you notice?"
"Oh yeah you aren't wearing your cape or your normal clothes."
"Yeah I decided to buy people clothes." We both started laughing.
"I remember saying the same thing after I had finally snapped out of my chunibyo."
"Well I mean that's something that seemed hard to snap out of."
Out of the corner of my eyes a car is flying at the window.
"Duck."
"What?" Ruby was confused
"DUCK NOW!" Ruby quickly ducked her head as the car smashed into the window. Before it could do any physical damage to anyone I quickly created a barrier of darkness blocking everyonr in the cafe from any damage. Everyone in the cafe started clapping, but I quickly put up my hand as everyone went silent. I lower the barrier and start to evacuate everyone out of the cafe.
"Rikka what is going on?" Ruby asks in fear.
"Someone at this cafe is being targeted." Ruby was about to speak when she collapsed right Infront of me.
"Ruby?" My eyes widened as I seen blood start to pool from her head. Jumping down quickly tears started to fill my eyes.
"RUBY!" I quickly turn to see if I can spot whoever shot the bullet then quickly turn back. Maybe I can save her with my power. I raise my hand over her head trying to heal the wound, but even after healing the wound I'm not sure if I can bring her back. I can't bring Ruby to the hospital here, because her biology might be different than my world. I have to go to Remnant.

A week has passed since Ruby almost died, but thank god she's alive. In the time since I've been trying to find out who shot Ruby with no luck other than the conclusion of that bullet was meant for me. I have every reason to suspect that whoever it was is also the same person who killed me 4 years to ago. I won't let this person get away with hurting my friends. The only thing that stands out most about this whole assassination attempt is this pouch with some type of substance in it. Form the looks of it this strange stuff is a performance enhancing drinkable liquid, that has to be from one of those mobs. If someone where to get their hands on any of this it could be dangerous. I decided to track where this stuff came from and made my way to try to end this. Upon arrival I seen some guy getting his ass handed to him by a girl in a dark purple ish outfit with a small red cape and pink hair. Why does this look familiar to me? The girl looks at me and waves her fingers in a strange way. Before long six girls sporting the same outfit were surrounding me.
"We finally found you." Said the girl with pink hair.
"If you think you can try to kill me without-"
"We aren't trying to kill you." A girl with pigtails cut me off.
"Rikka Takanashi we need your help." The girl with pink hair stated.
"Who are you?"
"My name is Momochi Minamoto and we are Tsukikage."
