Chapter 4: All Spyced up

Rikka:

So this is Tsukikage? It's definitely bigger than I expected. Momochi walked up to me looking very apologetic.
"Rikka I'm sorry." She started twidling her fingers. Apparently she never needed to knock me out. The top of Tsukikage is a small curry shop. Momochi seems kinda new at this whole spy thing, but I won't get on her case to hard. After waiting for what seemed like hours I was finally told why they needed me and what Tsukikage is. Tsukikage is an organization of spies, but it only consists of teenage girls. I'm obviously an exception even though I'm in my 20s. Each member of Tsukikage carries a special spyce with them that enhances their abilities. Apparently it only improves highschool age girls for some reason. The only reason they need me is because of my powers, but I'm not sure how much of that I even have left. There is of course a slight chance the spyces might work on me so that's the next thing they wanted to try on me. I just hope I can find Ruby's attempted killer before my powers deplete completely.

"Are you sure everything will be okay? I don't want you getting hurt." Yuuta said with concern. I gripped the phone tighter. A tear trickles down my cheek.
"I promise I'll be okay." Even though I have these powers I still feel so weak. I never imagined that my life would have ever gotten like this. Just a few years ago I was still in my chunibyo faze acting like I had powers and trying to express my love to Yuuta in the only way I knew how, but now I'm married with a child and actual powers from.a parallel world I was pulled into. I'm grateful for everything the way it is, but part of me wishes everything could go back to normal.
"Rikka?" Yuuta called out.
"Huh?" I must have spaced out.
"Please be careful okay?"
"I promise I will, I love you."
"I love you too"
After ending the call I made my way down to the training room. If I'm to get stronger I need to train with this spice stuff, but which one do I try first?
"Maybe try this one." Momochi walks up holding a stick of cinnamon. I remember her telling me that each member has a recruit and each recruit shares the type of spyce with their master. Taking the cinnamon stick from Momochi I take a small bite. Both my eyes glow a bright yellow as a dark aura surrounds me. The power is incredible I've never felt like this before. I feel like I can take on anyone and win with ease.

I was told spyce was supposed to enhance your body in a way that it seemed you were super powered. Each Tsukikage member even has their own special ability, for instance Momochi's tongue can taste different emotions on people as well as act as a lie detector. No Tsukikage member has ever had actual powers so that might have something to do with the fact of it enhancing my power. As I create a ball of dark energy I look at the training dummies letting the energy build up. A smirk forms on my face as I release the energy blasting a hole in the wall.
"HOLY SHIT!" Momochi jumped about a foot back.
"I guess the spyce does a bit more than just enhance my physical abilities." I giggle.
"Rikka do you know what this means?" Momochi looked at me waiting for an answer, but she has just continued on, "you are the most important part of our operation. You are the only older girl that spyce affects!"
Right before I could speak an alarm went off in the base. Momochi quickly turns in a local news station.
"It seems there are reports of giant creatures coming from the Pacific Ocean just outside of Japan's border." The reporter says with fear.
"What the hell is going on?" Momochi says fearfully. Those beasts look like Grimm. Why are Grimm attacking Japan? More importantly how the hell did Grimm end up in Japan? Just then my phone starts going off.
"Hello?" I answer.
"Rikka! Grimm everywhere! I ne-"
"Yuuta?" The call dropped. Momochi turns to me. I grab the cinnamon stick and start my way out of the base.
"Rikka you can't do this on your own!" Momochi looks at me with concern.
"Try and stop me." I take another small bite feeling my aura grow stronger. I fly into the air bursting through the ceiling and making my way to the Grimm. Don't worry Yuuta I'm on my way.
