Keep in mine that I wrote this story in when I was 16 and English is my second language, which means this book is full of grammar and spelling mistakes that are so stupid. So, if you can't handle it, please feel free to make your way out of this story without committing negative shit to demotivate me. Also, some events are not connected becuase this is being edited, hint, whatever comes before the page breaker has been recently edited. If you choose to continue, grab your popcorn and be ready to read the most bad written clichè I have ever written.

10 years ago, at the age of 6
"Get up, you chicken" the little blonde boy yelled at me.
I was knocked down on the floor after the little blonde boy from my class pushed me, and hair knotted after he pulled at it. At that age, the only thing I knew how to do when I was scared is to cry. Of course the other children at that age found that kind of things entertaining because they didn't know any better. Thus, I was on the floor crying with my hands covering my face as an attempt to hide from all the other children as the cheered in encourment for the boy to keep bullying me.
The kid, Jake, walked up to me and swung his fist my way to hit me. I automatically closed my eyes and waited for the hit, but it never came. When I opened my eyes, Kyle was standing there with a red check; he pushed the guy away and stood in front of me protectively.
"She's not a chicken" he said then helped me get up, and took me to the nurse's office.
He always stood up for me no matter what, even when we were six. Kyle and I, grew up as neighbors and spent all our time together on play dates; by the time we learned to walk, we were best friend.
I was lying on the bed after the nurse cleaned my cuts and checked if I was okay, while Kyle just stood next to the bed to see if I was okay. The nurse smile at me "You should get some rest, sweetheart. I'm going to call your mum to inform her about what happened" she then turned to Kyle "She's fine now, Kyle. You can go back to class now"
"No" he shook his head "Aunt Malia told me to never ever leave Kim's side when she needs me"
She just chuckled "Oh well, you can stay. I also have to call your mother"
The nurse went to her desk and started calling both our parents.
"Next time someone bullies you, tell me so I can hit him" Kyle said with his cute pissed off face. He looked very funny for a 6 year old who is pissed off.
"I'm sorry" I said as I felt guilty.
"Promise me that you'll tell me and never lie to me"
"I promise"
He then turned red and held his pinky finger "Pinky promise?"
I nodded and Pinky promised him "Pinky promise"
AFTER 9 YEARS.....
BY THE AGE OF 15....
"You're such a guy Kim, are you sure you're a chick?" the guy said as he made fun of me.
I was already on the floor after this guy Jake from class tripped me down, I fell on my knee pretty hard and hurt myself in front of the whole class. And yes, he's the same kids from Kindergarten who used to bully me.
"C'mon, get up" He said and kicked my foot "If you're acting like a dude, you should be bullied like a guy too" he looked down at me.
I stood up and picked my stuff up ignoring the sharp pain in my Knee, I was already bleeding from my knees. I lend down and wiped it away with a small piece of cloth that was in the back of my pocket. I tried to walk away from him, but he stood in my way and slammed his shoulder with mine which made me fall again.
"Oh my bad" he said with a smirk "C'mon Kim, don't you have the balls to fight back?"
I smirked as I got up "At least I have one unlike you"
The smirk on his face disappeared as he took a step closer, and boy he was mad. We were about to get face to face when Kyle got in the middle and grabbed Jake by the collar, Kyle was pretty pissed off.
"Fucking try, Jake" Kyle warned "Pull that bullshit again, and you're dead"
He pushed Jake back.
"Chill bro, I'm just trying to have fun that's all" the jerk said "Why do you care so much about that girl anyway?"
"That girl is my best friend, if you try to touch her I'm going to kill you. Now get out of my face and don't come close to her ever again or this will be the last day light you'll see" he said.
"Whatever, man" Jake said then walked away.
"Are you okay Kimmy?" he asked softly with worried eyes.
"You're being over protective Kyle, I was fine" I said.
"You're kidding right?" he looked at me like I was stupid.
"No"
"I should be pissed at you" I said pissed off.
"Pissed at me? What did I do?" I said annoyed.
"You promised me you would tell me if someone ever bullied you."
"When did I ever promise that?"
"When we were 6, remember?"
"That was a long while ago Kyle." I said pinching the temple of my nose.
"I don't care, just promise me that you'll tell me if anyone hurts you ever again" I said "And no more lies, please"
"Okay" I said as I attempted to walk away.
He pulled me away and looked me in the eyes "Promise?"
"I promise" I said.
"Ever"
"Okay, okay. I promise that I'll never break that promise" I told him.
"Good, let's take you home so my mum can clean your cuts"
He turned around and told me to hop on his back so he would carry me home, and I did.
That's my best friend. Kyle.
