CHAPTER ELEVEN - STARGAZE ! ____
"PARDON?" you asked, in a bit of confusion. There was literally a random stranger in your house, and you were too scared to turn around.
Mostly scared about the fact that they could knock you out. You quickly got your fork and turned around.
Only to meet eyes with the one and only,
Jean Kirstein.
He looked at you confused of why you were holding a fork like that. Did you think he was a burglar or something?
"—...Oh. It's just you..Gosh you frightened me.." you said patting your chest back and fourth and setting the fork down.
"...Sorry I startled you. But you're lonely right? So I'll stay here with you." he gave you a smile and took a seat next to you.
He wanted to sit across from you, but decided that'd be a little bit too awkward.
"Thank you." you smiled back at him.
"..Well, what are you having?" he looked at your plate of leftovers from yesterday.
"—Wait here!" you said as you headed towards the kitchen to get him a plate of food so that he could eat some too. You didn't want him starving, looking at you eating your food.
____
"Here ya go!" you handed him the plate of heated up pasta. He gave you his thanks as he set his plate down.
It was somewhat awkward because there was no one else around.
It was weirdly quiet.
The breeze of the air would hit your noise due to the window still being opened when Jean had entered from the same window. And it would be a bother to close it due to the fact that it was a bit stuffy and humid inside your house.
"..Sorry there's not much things to do here, my house is kind of small—and boring." you frowned as he shook his head, saying a little chuckle.
"Don't worry about it. Anywhere is fun when it's with you." he smiled back at you, making your face heat up, and your stomach feel a funny feeling. It was a feeling of excitement, but at the same time it made you uneasy.
Just uneasy of what was going to happen? You convinced yourself it wasn't anything bad though.
"Thank you for being here with me!" you smiled at him, to see his face covered in tomato sauce.
"No problem!" he mumbled to you, his mouth being stuffed with food and him smiling back at you.
He ate like a kid. And it truly did make you happy you didn't have to spend the night alone by yourself.
