Chapter 10

Zoe's POV:

Niall has been on tour for 3 months already. I miss him like crazy. Yes we skype and call every time we get a chance but It's not the same.

I think their next stop is Ireland; then they'll go to America. Niall mentioned last time we talked that he was excited to see his family and friends in Ireland.

I was currently getting ready to go to a carnival with my friend Tanya. She invited me to go with her yesterday and I said yes. I haven't really done much since Niall left. It's now in the very beginning of November, so the last time I saw Niall in person was in July.

I was already dressed and ready to go when Tanya knocked on the door.

"Come in!"

"Hey Zoe! You look great, I love the shoes!" She ran up and hugged me.

"You ready to go?" I asked her.

We got into my car and started driving to where the carnival was. "So how's Niall?"

"Well he's been on tour for a few months, and I haven't seen him since. But we've been skyping and calling." I sighed, keeping my eyes on the road.

"Sorry about that. Are you going to visit him any?"

"I want to; just depends on if I can. I have stuff for the book, interviews, meet and greats, and I still need to do videos."

"Oh.." She trailed off, "Okay! Forget about everything tonight. We're going to have so much fun, don't let any of that get you down. We'll get wasted on ice cream tonight!" I laughed at her comment.

"Eyes on the road Zoe! We won't get wasted if we get in a wreck." She laughed.

"Alright..Alright." I laughed.

We pulled up to the place where the carnival was being held. Different colored lights were flashing everywhere and you could smell the food stands.

"Oooh. I'm so ready to ride the Ring Of Fire!" Tanya squealed pulling into my arm as we walked up to the ticket booth.

"I think not. That ride takes you upside down, I can't have my food coming up." I laughed.

"Then we'll eat after silly! But it'll be great. Plus I have a super surprise for you, that I'll think you'll love." She smiled widely at me.

I shook my head laughing as I asked the lady in the ticket booth for tickets, "100 tickets please."

"Here you go. Have fun ladies."

"Thank you."

"So where to first? Should we do games or straight to rides?" I asked Tanya.

"Hmm. Rides first definitely. Then after we calm down from rides we can win at some games."

The first ride we went to was the Scrambler. It basically just spins around crazy.

We gave our tickets to the man and got into the seat.

"How fast do you-" Before I could get the words out my mouth the ride started up. It started off slow then gradually got faster. By then end we were flying around in the seat, slamming each other into the sides.

"That was great." Tanya laughed with me as we walked to another ride.

We rode about 10 more rides until we didn't have but a couple tickets left.

"Before we go to games, I have to use the bathroom." I told Tanya.

"Okay. I'll just go ahead and get us ice cream."
