Levy POV~

Everything hurt, really bad. Last thing I can remember was being picked by a silver dragon. I shot upright in the infirmary bed and then immediately regretted it. I coughed and some blood came out onto my hand. "Shit" "Shrimp?!" I looked up to see a rather concerned and suprised face."Gajeel?" He smirked. "You're one hell of a heavy sleeper.Well since you're awake I can leave. And hey," he looked me right in the eye. "Be careful." My face heated up and looked down. "You got a fever?" He put his hand on my forehead. "N-no I'm fine!" I batted his hand away.

He looked confused. "But your face is red-" "I'm fine! Honestly!" He have me a questioning look before walking out. I looked down to see Lucy asleep on the chair, leaning on Natsu, who was also asleep. I smiled softly, they were both so oblivious to each other's and their own feelings. One day they'll realize it.

"My child are you alright?" I turned to see Master walk in. "Been better." I say quietly. "Child, from what Lucy said, you know about Natsu and the others." I was astonished, then felt stupid. Of course master knew, Laxus had to be the Lightning dragon and they were related. "Yes." "Levy, you can't let the others know. How do you think the town would react?" It made sense now.

"I understa-" another coughing fit racked my body. "Ah!" I gasped as I recalled my ribs. Master held my hand and patted it. He looked concern. "Get better my small child." He left as Lucy started waking up. "Levy!!" She bolted to bedside. She started crying, she seemed to have guessed that I had seen her light and followed her.

"Lucy. Look at me. I'm okay." I pulled my friend into a hug, even though it hurt. She looked like she was about to hug me back but she didn't. Suddenly she started crying this time but this time she wasn't sobbing loudly.

"Levy I-I wanted to tell you so badly. But I couldn't, master only let Natsu tell me because I had been saved by Natsu in dragon form so as he said it, I was entitled to the truth. I almost-" "Lucy, I don't care about all that. I won't tell anyone and I understand that you couldn't tell me. Let's go get something to eat." I moved my legs to go to the guild hall. "Wait Levy-" as soon as I put pressure on my feet they gave out. Lucy helped me up. "Levy! You aren't strong enough yet." I then realized how skinny I was.

"Lucy, how long was I asleep." She wouldn't meet my eyes. "Levy.." "How long was I asleep." I said a little fiercer."2 months." I gasped. That was long, which is much shorter considering I've been asleep for 7 years before but so were other people. And all Gajeel said was 'I'm one hell of a heavy sleeper?!' "That stupid dragon!" I said angrily. "What?" "Nothing!" I said quickly. "Wait, if it's been 2 months how come I've still got all the minor wounds?" "Something was wrong with those creatures." While you were in an unstable condition nothing would heal. The best thing Wendy and Porlyusica could do was cure the rabies and keep you alive. But a few times your heart stopped." Lucy chocked out the last words like it hurt to remember.

"I'm sorry I made you guys worry.." "Don't be apologizing shrimp." Gajeel walked back into the room. "I have a name!" "I know but I call you shrimp." "I've noticed..." Lucy looked at him. "Did you tell the others Levy was awake?" He smirked. "No, the old man said he wanted it to be a surprise."

Within a matter of seconds I was on Gajeel's back. My tiny fists pounded his head. "BAKA!!! Put me down!" "Nope. And stop hitting me shrimp!" "My name's Levy!!!!!" I stopped punching him and held onto his shoulders. "Stop pouting. You wanna look happy when the others see you right?" "How do you know I'm pouting?" I said in a matter-of-fact tone. "Because I know you." We reached the door into the guild hall. I peaked in and saw a dreary room that barely resembled the fairy tail I knew. Gajeel slowly opened the door. A smile crept on my face, this was going to be way more fun than having someone else tell them I was fine. "Hey! Does anyone know where I can find the Fairy Tail guild?" I yelled loudly. All heads turned. I smiled widely. "LEVY!!!!!" Jet was the first over. If it had been normal circumstances he'd be glaring at Gajeel. "Get down here? I wanna give you a hug." Gajeel seemed annoyed by this don't know why. "I can't..." I looked at my legs, covered in bandages and deep holes where fang punctured muscle. Soon I was greeted by all of Fairy Tail. Even Laxus said he was glad I was alright!

Gajeel POV~

Orange top didn't have the right to hug her, he wasn't there to save her! Why should I care if he hugs here or not? It's not like it matters!

I really need to get some sleep.

"Gajeel? Hello? Anybody home?" "Huh?" I tilted my head back to look at shrimp. "Master says I need to go back to the infirmary." "Oh okay." I carried her back to the back of the building that was the mini Fairy Tail hospital.

"Thanks for taking me to see them. It was much better than if they came to see me." She smiled at me, she had a nice smile. I tousled her hair, I turned my head away cause I was blushing a bit. "Don't scare us like that again." She looked surprised at my words. She smiled softly. "I'll try my best."

My face just reddened even more. I wasn't sure if she remembered anything. "Hey, do you remember-" "I won't tell anyone." So she did know. She didn't seem afraid or disgusted that was good.

I left the infirmary and went back to the guildhall. Pantherlilly was smirking. "What?!" "You finally gonna stop sleeping in the infirmary." "I only stated there cause I was the one who saved her." "Sure." "Stupid cat." I muttered annoyed.

"You slept at the infirmary? You two are so stupid! It's obvious you like Levy and she-" the blondie slapped a hand over the Salamander's mouth. "Natsu! Shush!" She said harshly. I would've denied it but it was true, I had a soft spot for her. Plus I would've just ended in another brawl.

Time skip(a week later)

"Gajeel. I want you to take Levy back to Fairy Hills." Master was being weird today. "Why can't she go by herself. If she's being discharged from the infirmary isn't she healed?" "Not completely-" "Them she doesn't need to leave!" Being alone with the shrimp would just make me act like an idiot. "She requested to leave. She can walk but not very well. That's why I need you take her." "I thought guys weren't allowed in the girls apartments?" This was the last excuse I could think of. "This is an exception." Crap. I sighed. "Fine."

I walked to the infirmary to find a small blue haired girl attempting to get out of bed. No wonder master needed me to help her. "C'mon." I picked her up bridal style. As we walked down the road once again she tried to punch me and told me to put her down.

I looked down and saw her cheeks were pink and puffed out in a pouty face. Crap, she looked cute.

I took her to her apartment and I was about to leave when-"Gajeel!" I turned around. She looked nervous and was blushing about something. "Um, when I'm better can I go with you guys to the forest in the afternoon?" That surprised me. After being attacked you'd think she would never want to step foot in there again. She's got guts. I smirked. "Sure shrimp." I turned and walked away. "MY NAME'S LEVY!!!!"
