3rd POV:

Duncan: "... say that again..." He said as he looked towards Naofumi with burning red eyes.

The atmopshere started to change, Naofumi had to carefuly choose his next words... not to anger Duncan.

Naofumi: "I don't have to listen a word that comes from the filfthy royal mouths."

Duncan: "..."

Melty saw claws coming out of Duncan's finger tips ready for attack, but before Duncan could make a move, she took his hand trying to calm him down.

Duncan looked towards Melty as she shook her head, Duncan took one last look at Naofumi.

But their moment was interrupted by one of the knights that just opened the door.

Knight: "Princess Melty, his royal majesty calls, please come with us."

Duncan glance towards the knight making him shut the door in fear seeing Duncan's red burning eyes. Shortly Duncan's eyes returned to their natural blue color.

Duncan only petted Melty on the head.

Duncan: "Be careful out there kid. Please don't make us worry."

Melty: "Hmm-hmm, i have to leave now Filo."

With that Melty left the shop along with the knights.

Raphtalia: "Why couldn't given her a chance to explain herself?" She asked Naofumi who wasn't listening.

Erhard: "You know she's got a point kid."

Filo: "Hey master i don't understand, how could you treat Mel so coldly?"

Duncan couldn't just stand and watch so he made his way towards the door.

This got everyone's attention.

Raphtalia: "Where are you going?"

Duncan only glanced in their direction.

Duncan: "... see you when the wave comes around..."

Duncan opened the door and closed it, leaving only burned claw marks on the door.

In the shop everyone stared where Duncan left the burned marks.

Naofumi: "I... may have angered the wrong person."

Erhard: "You think?"

Outside with Duncan.

As Duncan made his way on the streets of Melromarc, everyone made a path out of fear seeing Duncan's cold stare.

Duncan stopped walking and looked towards the sky.

Duncan: "I need to keep going... i need to vent out this anger and i know just how..."

As Duncan started to walk again as his eyes began to flicker a red color.

TIMESKIP

3rd POV:

As Naofumi, Raphtalia and Filo, went to Beloukas in order to find a better way for class upgrades since they have been banned from the church of Melromarc.

But sadly the nearest country they had to go was a month away by wagon, so they decided to equip Filo with a new weapon. Wyvern Talons.

Shortly after a little test in the sewers for Filo's new weaponf, they went to sell some medicine in a nearby town.
