Violet's pov:
The next day I wake up yawning soundlessly making sure I don't wake up Alex. I turn my head around and look at the deatheater mark on my upper arm and reach out my other hand to touch the snakes with its fangs shown. As soon as my fingertips touch the mark I feel my ears ringing and small headache making it way so I quickly withdraw my hand. I take a few movement to recompose myself.
When I feel normals again I turn my head around to see Alexander on the other side of to the bed on his stomach sleeping soundly. I easily jump out of the bed find my cloths and wear his white t shirt making my way to the stairs, I remember seeing a landline near the receptionist. She looks at me then behind me where the clocks is it must be early cause she looks at me surprised, well I use get max 3 hour sleep before kia would starts fussing then it became a habit.
She quickly masks her surprise with a bright smile and saying good morning, I don't say it back I know she is a fake ass bitch. I have ability to know people the movement I see them like I can feel there vibe.
She was even eye fucking Alex tho knowing he was here with me. I make my way to the phone and dial Rachel's parents landline, after 3 rings someone picks the phone.
"Hello who's cal-"
"Rach it's me violet"
"Oh god it's you, I have been ringing you for so long"
"Yeah, my phone's at the shop" I say
"Where even are you, are you okay?"I hear her say in a worried tone speaking fast
"Don't worry I'm okay"
"What do you mean ur okay can't you even pick that damm phone of yours"
I exhale loudly
"V where are you"
"I don't know...meet me at the shop"
"30 min"
With that she hangs up on me
I just stand still not knowing what to do for a minute or so. And rush towards the exist. I make my way back and clean things up as much as I can, I do feel someone watching me or maybe if was just me being paranoid after yesterday. In 40 min later Rachel comes in with Kiara sleeping in her arms, her face on rach's shoulder, running towards them I crash them both in a bone crushing hug.
"Voilet, what happened to the wall"she ask I just look away kissing Kai's head exhaling in relief
"Rachel it best if you don't know"
"Hey. U know u can tell me what's happening right ur like my sister v"
"Don't. Don't wish things like that" I wish no one has a family like mine. Being related to me is a curse and i don't wish that upon no one.
"v.what.happened"
She asks in a demanding tone
I just feel like my eyes start tearing up
I say in a small breaking voice
"You know I love u Rachel and I would die for you, but don't ask what happened I won't be able to tell you"
"Hey...hey...hey why you cryi-"
I feel tears streaming down my cheeks so I continue in my crying tone cutting her off midsentense "I really am greatfull that you both are in my life. You and kia means soo much to me"
"V what's happening "
I don't reply but start crying histically I feel Kai moving in my arms for the sobbing sounds I guess. So i rub her back controlling my sob's that's when I feel Rachel's hugging me from the front I just lay my head on her shoulder, she kisses Kai's heads behind and says
"U don't have to explain me anything just know. I'm here, always here for you with Kai"
With that I continue my crying without much noise and Rachel's spends so more time consoling me, rubbing my back like in a baby
I really love Rachel so much. She knew I had a shady past from the start and still decided to be there for me. She thinks I have a past with Drugs or alcohol like her, I would keep it that way it's better then being associated with witchcraft in Muggle world.
