At the Laundry Room, Thursday

"You like that?" Hongjoong ask

"Yeah I do," Hwijin passes back his phone, a word document full of lyrics

"Now all I need is rectify the instrumental and do the vocals," Hongjoong said

"Yeah, you made it sound so easy when in actual fact that's a lot of work, how many hours are you left with?" She asked

"I spend 3 hours on the instrumentations so 27 more hours."

"That's like a day," Hwijin said

"Yeah but you gotta work under pressure I guess," Hongjoong shrugs

"You can't record it in your free time?" She asked

"Nope is an exam, I have to be in the music room to record the instruments and book a recording room for vocals," He said

Hwijin walks around the counter table "We can use other recording apps so that you won't have to think during your 27 hours and you have more time to record the vocals!" Hwijin said

"Not a bad idea but isn't that like cheating?" Hongjoong said

"Well did your lecturer say that you couldn't use other apps?"

Hongjoong shakes his head indicating a no

"Just take this as a practice for the recording," Hwijin said

"Alright, what app should we use?" He questions

"Dreamers Music? They have an acoustic guitar, bass guitar and many more instruments," She said

"For a ballerina, you sure do know your instruments," Hongjoong wowed at Hwijin

She laughs "just as long as the instruments match the app you're using on your laptop is all good."

Hongjoong pulls out his phone and downloads the app.

"You should add this in," Hwijin adds a reverb

"I'm not really sure if this is my end year project or ours," He laughs

"It's yours, I'm just making better," She said

Hongjoong looks at his watch "We should go, our 3 hours are up."

They went to the male's laundry from 2 AM to 5 AM.

"Same as next week?" Hongjoong ask

Hwijin smiles "definitely."

Hwijin quickly gets out of the counter table and waves him goodbye

In the lift

Hwijin leans at the side of the elevator waiting for the lift to reach her level

"Imagine having someone you like write a song about them moving on from their ex-crush when they can write a song about me," Hwijin said to herself

"Maybe falling in love was a bad mistake," She sighs

A Week Later, Friday

"Alright, those who are auditioning the role of The Nutcracker / Hans-Peter please step out and go in the auditorium," The Dance instructor said

Wooyoung goes into the auditorium to audition for the role of The Nutcracker. As he waits for the name to be called, he starts stretching.

"Good luck out there, I'm sure you'll need it," A fellow dancer from a different class said

"What do you mean by that Hyunsoo?".

"Oh well I saw in the list that Rona is auditioning for the role of Clara so why don't we play it easy and you drop out of the auditions hmm?" He smirks at Wooyoung

Wooyoung walks to him "No can do, this is an audition and that means only one of us can be the main lead."

"I can be the main lead while you can be the understudy," Hyunsoo said

"I don't know what's an understudy cause all I know is that I'm the main lead, I have never been a replacement before," Wooyoung stares at him

Well, you're the second lead in this story.

"But maybe you should try to be one or even better, don't audition," Wooyoung continues

"Why you-", "Jung Hyunsoo," The instructor calls from the mic at the judging seat or whatever it's called

Hyunsoo walks to the stage and switches his angry demeanour to a professional one.

Wooyoung had to admit Hyunsoo is a good dancer. How he expresses his dance by changing his facial expressions. Even his outfit matches his story but Wooyoung was a great dancer and he's going to show Hyunsoo who he's messing with.

"Jung Wooyoung come up to the stage," The instructor called

Hyunsoo gets off the stage and said "let's see if you can beat that," He chuckles

Wooyoung ignores him and gets on stage

He was pulling off the nutcracker outfit, capturing the judge's attention to your outfit, even if he doesn't get the role, at least he had a good outfit to hide the failure.

"I am going to do the Sugarplum pas de deux," Wooyoung said to the judge

Pas De Deux - Means duet in French

"Pas De Deux? But that's a duet, are you able to do it as a solo performance," She emphasises the word, Solo

"Yes ma'am," He responded

The judge smiled "Very well then, start whenever you're ready."

Wooyoung closes his eyes and once the music had started his whole mind went into performance mode.
