izana k , first time

implied spoilers??? DEFINITELY OOC!!! you've read the warnings <3

you banged on the door to your friend's house, the boy you grew up with. although he changed you stuck by his side, along with his younger friend, kakucho.

"kurokawa open this door this instant, i think i'm getting frostbite!"

you could heard a groan come from inside the house as footsteps shuffled towards the door, izana clearly looking like he just woke up and also looking slightly pissed.

"(name), to what do i owe the pleasure?"

izana smiled bitterly, sarcasm lacing his voice. you ignored his hostility and pushed a to go cup in his hand,

"i brought you a mocha since i figured you'd be cranky... and you need to absorb some of the sweetness from this drink.."

you practically whispered the last part, a vein twitched on izana's forehead but you shoved right past him, letting yourself in his house.

"damn kurokawa if i stood out there any longer i probably would've got my limbs gnawed off by the cold!"

izana rolled his eyes at your dramatic gesture and took a sip from his mocha, taking the jacket you pulled off and shaking it off outside, not wanting any snow to get on the woodwork.

"wow (name) if you had an intention of bringing a winter wonderland into my house you should've just said so."

there he goes with his sarcasm again. you had to laugh, even if he was being sarcastic you found it hilarious.

"good one kurokawa!! i'll be sure to surprise you with that on new years as a little gift!"

you smiled widely, getting izana to smile as well.

"heh,, so you plan to hang out with me on new years? of course you would want to."

you nudged him with your elbow, irking at your actions he began to walk further into his house.

"oh are you going upstairs? hurry up and change so we can go outside!"

you shoved izana towards the stairs slightly a he mumbled some agreement, heading towards his room.

sipping your drink you walked through the halls and living room, for someone who didn't like to project his emotions often, izana had lots of memorabilia from all the events you shared with him and kakucho. your first winter with izana you decided to build an igloo, kakucho wasn't in your guys' life yet, so it was just the two of you who set up your little disposable camera on a stump near by, to get a picture of you two in the igloo.

getting an idea, you shouted for izana,

"kurokawa hurry up! if you take any long the snow will probably melt!"

the snow and chilly weather wasn't going anywhere in anytime soon, but you just wanted to spend as much time as possible with izana.

he came down the stairs in his winter outfit and you both began to head towards the door. his phone in his jacket pocket.

you pulled him by his arm, dragging him outside where you were both met with the freezing cold air.

"jeez i still haven't adapted to this weather! and it's been like,,, 12 years of us doing this?."

izana nodded, looking up at the trees to see all the icicles and each design they had. the sun causing them to glisten underneath the heat. he began to shiver, rubbing his hands together and blowing into them. you laughed at him but then felt bad when he shot you an irritated glance. walking over to him you cupped his hands in yours.

"that's what you get for buying fingerless gloves to try and act all cool."

izana rolled his eyes,

"if you don't wanna help me keep warm i'll go back inside, it's not like you HAVE to anyways."

you laughed again,

"and you wonder where i get my dramatic characteristics from."

you pulled him closer to you and hugged him.

he looked at you and at that moment, the world stopped.

"(name),"

you raised your eyebrow, waiting for him to continue,

"you know i care about you right?"

you smiled softly,

"of course i do, i just know you like to be angsty and mysterious."

you squeezed him with a hug.

he pulled apart, still holding on with your arms. izana was never good with his emotions, but it was your guys' inside joke to make fun of.

"no i mean, i really care about you. i want to make sure you're okay no matter what, you and kakucho... are all i have left. and even if i never admit it, i wouldn't be the same without you guys, i need you in my life (name)."

you grabbed the side of his cheek, your thumb rubbing it softly. his eyes practically glistening. you were always jealous of his eyes, they reminded you of the perfect bouquet of hydrangeas, which is mainly why you grew them in the spring and summer time.

"kurokawa, i'm never leaving you. you don't have to worry about that, okay? i love you,"

you paused for a second to see any kind of reaction, but tears started to form at your eyes and you couldn't tell anymore,

"i love you kurokawa, and i don't know how you would treat me after saying this but i wanted to get it off my chest."

you exhaled loudly and izana also looked like he was on the verge of crying. he pulled you back into the hug, resting his chin on your shoulder. he pushed your hair back to make sure only you could hear.

"i love you too."

he kissed your cheek before backing up and looking at you again. your smile had never been wider, tears running down your face.

"let's just stay like this for a little while, yeah?"

he nodded before pulling you back into the hug,

"let's build an igloo after this."

"definitely."
