(I don't know)

Lucy's POV

It's been a couple years since the war with Zeref and Acnologia. My novel was published, successful may I add. I laugh and crouch to the ground when one of the twins, Ella, runs towards me, babbling and cooing "Aunty Lushi~" I giggle and hug her when she's in my arms. "There's my Elly!" I coo. I press kisses into her short blue hair, making her laugh.

I can't help the ache my heart makes. Early pregnancy or not, I can't help but yearn for love like Levy and Gajeel's. My lips twitch. I shouldn't be thinking like that. I'm happy with how Natsu's and I's relationship is. Elly looks up at me, hand on my cheek. "Lushi sad?" She asks, head tilting. I wave a hand. "Not really. I'm fine!" "You got that look on your face Lu" Levy points out.

I huff. "Let me enjoy my baby snuggles in peace please." Levy sighs. "Lu" I frown, rubbing the top of Ella's head. "What am I suppose to do? He hasn't got a clue yet. I'm fine with the way things are. Nothing wrong with wanting more." Levy frowns. I look back down to Ella and continue playing.

I wave everyone bye before walking to my apartment. I huff. Can't they just leave my lack of love life alone? I sigh and put my hands behind my back. I look up and smile. Natsu has gotten more protective over me. Even taking time out of his brawls to stop a chair or table from slamming into me, giving me a grin before going back at it. My heart skips a beat. I sigh again. "Idiot" "Who?" I scream.

I turn and face Natsu. "You can't just sneak up on someone like that!" I shout at him, hands on my hips. He snickers. "Yes I can" I sigh. "Why do I try?" I turn and keep walking, hearing him follow. I sigh again. Why do I love this idiot again? "What's with all this sighing?" He asks. I tense. "It's nothing." "Obviously not." He calls out my bs. I stay silent.

I unlock the door to my apartment. "Stop ignoring me Lushi~" Natsu whines. I turn and face him. "Ugh fine!" I put my index fingers together. "I like someone, a lot more than that actually, but they just aren't getting my clues! I want a boyfriend!" I pout. Natsu takes a step back, surprised. He sighs. "That's it?" I cross my arms. "What do you mean 'that's it?'!" I shout at him. He rubs the back of his head. "Nothing..." he looks down the hallway.

I frown. "Well if that's all, see you later" I walk in, than try to close the door. Natsu holds his hand out, stopping the door. I tilt my head, opening the door fully. "Natsu?" His bangs were shadowing his eyes. I take a stop closer, now worried. "Something wrong?" I ask. He grabs my wrist. I squeak. "Natsu!" He takes a step closer and captures my lips with his. Before I can respond, he pulls back. "Better... See ya!" He turns and walks off, raising a hand. I flush red and cover my mouth. Did he really just...

A few months pass. Natsu started kissing me daily. I don't know what's gotten into him but I'm not going to complain. I would just like an explanation. I flop onto my back and stare at the ceiling. Does him kissing me mean he returns my feelings? Why else would he continue to kiss me. I hear the window sliding open. I turn my head and see Natsu perched on the windowsill.

"Lucy? You don't smell sick" He tilts his head. I laugh a little, shaking my head. "No I'm not sick. Just feel like laying in bed for a bit" He climbs off the window and sits on the bed in front of me. He puts a hand on the other side of my head and leans in. I close my eyes and lean closer, pressing our lips together. I reach up and slide a hand in his hair. He nibbles on my bottom lip before pulling back. I open my eyes and look up at him. "What was that for?" I ask. He grins. "Just felt like kissing you" I huff and roll my eyes. Natsu pouts. "What, do you not like my kisses?"

The hand I had in his hair slides down and grabs onto his scarf. "It's not that. Just... confused" He tilts his head. "Confused? What's there to be confused about?" I sigh as I press a hand to his chest. "Nevermind. Forget I said anything." He pouts. "Lucy" I wasn't ready to ask or say something. I give a small smile. "Not yet..." He frowns. "Alright" He flops down next to me. "Whatcha laying in bed for anyways?" He puts his hands behind his head.
