Kaila  (K- la)
Hair: Sandy blonde, mid-back, wavy
Eyes: Green/grey
Height: 5' 6
Skin tone: tan
Athletic build
Orphaned as a baby, she has a vague memory of her father but can't seem to remember anything about her mother. The only thing she has to remember her parents by is half of a broken ring. Ever since she was little she's felt that she doesn't belong and Ms. Dodds, the lady who runs the orphanage has hated her from the moment she was dropped off. No matter how hard she tries, she can't seem to get adopted. The only things that keep Kaila going are her two friends Clio and Sirius.

Clio  (Cli-o)
Hair: platinum blonde, straight, shoulder length
Eyes: crystal blue
Height: 5' 4
Skin tone: fair
Thin build
Clio was also an orphan at the same orphanage as Kaila. They spent their childhood together and quickly became inseparable. Then the summer before eighth grade Clio was adopted by a nice couple in town, who periodically foster orphans. Clio used every opportunity she had to keep her friend away from the evil Ms. Dodds. Clio was slightly younger than Kaila and also looked to her as an older sister. Kaila filled the role as she made sure that nobody picked on Clio for her dyslexia.

Sirius   (Like serious)
Hair: black, shaggy
Eyes: deep brown
Height: 5' 9
Skin tone: pale
Skinny build
Sirius moved to town with his widowed mother when he was headed into middle school. One day he saw the school bully pick a fight with two girls because they had been struggling in English. He sympathized with them as he had dyslexia. The fight became physical and one of the girls was being picked on beat the bully up pretty badly. After that everyone seemed to stay away from the to girls. After he received a D on his report card in english, he was moved into a special class. When he entered, he saw the two girls find they all quickly became friends.
