"What happened?"

"The hut was guarded. I couldn't hear what they were saying. Tell her. This is about her."

"It's not as easy as you think. She'll hate me."

"Then read her grandmother's future."

"I can't either. I thought I knew what I'll do the moment I got here but apparently no. I can't get her out of here. Father, I'm helpless."

My father has been collecting information for me. He's not even supposed to be out here.
It has gotten to the point where he wants me to take matters into my hands and I don't even know where to start.

Reed, Xaya's grandmother has the title of the head of the village and she has all these girls in her house meaning she has something up her sleeves and I can't tell what it is.

The only way to find out is by looking into her eyes and figure out her plans but that's impossible because she is very smart and if she sees me, she will know who I am.

That is the reason I haven't allowed her to see me. But wait. Maybe reading her future isn't as difficult as I thought.

I see Owetu coming from the courtyard. And I dismissed my father.

"I need your help."

Xaya

"Grandma, if you are not going to tell me why you've asked me to come to The North, I'm going to find out for myself."

As I was on my way to my room, my grandma called me to her room and I had no other choice but to go with the accessories if I wanted to protect my endeavour to find out everything.

"Xaya, I'm the only one who knows what is going to happen in the future and I'm not telling you. I am doing this for you and your future and the future of all these girls, you should be grateful."

"I'm not staying here. Thank you for the short service. And I won't leave you standing."

"I heard you came with a man. How come I haven't met him?"

"Because you are not worth meeting him."
I turn to leave and she grips my elbow. One of the bottles move under the items I'm carrying. If I move again it will presumably fall and break and I don't even want to imagine what this woman will do to me if she sees it.

"No one gets in the way of my plans child."
I snatch my arm out of her tight grip and left. I walk to my room to put two and two together, but before that, I was pulled behind one of the rooms. One of the bottles drop and I pick it up in zero point zero three seconds. if that's even possible.
Owetu

"Do you need my help carrying those?"

"Woman, step aside. I have an issue at hand."
I carry everything in the room, put them on the table and try to lock the door from inside but she pushes it open in time.

"Do you drink strong liquor Xaya?"
She wiggles her eyebrows suspiciously and crosses her arms across her chest.

"Why? Do you want to sit out under the moonlight and sip on some juice with me? Girl if you don't leave from here, I'll pick that door up myself and hit you with it. The last time I checked, you were ignoring me."

"I only want to help you achieve your goals. We are in this together."

I look at her for a few seconds, contemplating how to respond to her offer.

"Why?"
She sits on the bed.

"Well, because I want to help you."

"Why?"
She stands and tries on the cutest bead there is.

"Let's say, I know Reed's favourite drink and she doesn't drink fermented beer."

"Okay go ahead."
She lays down on the bed and crossed her legs while her arms supported the back of her head.

"I'm not going to say anything until you give me your word in truth and nothing but the truth that-"

"Okay, alright. You can help me."
