Adelind Cressida

8:10AM

Whether joyous or depress'd, Adelind had to confess. Thou had appreciated Minerva's help this morning, getting everyone organized and on track whilst thou worked on thy worked on thy makeup and outfit. First impressions mattered so much to thee, and thou wanted to make sure thy first impression was perfect.

Thou had even been rehearsing how thou were going to introduce thyself to thy first Law class, as thou slept. Thou knew thou wouldn't wake Mary up, she's such a deep sleeper.

But thou believed thy makeup and outfit would send the message, if what thy say doesn't. Thou will definitely stand out, being seven feet tall. Thou was preparing thyself to be the tallest in the class, almost as if thou wasn't already used to that.

But as thou and thy friends made their way to eat- there was a Starbucks on campus, which was what convinced the twins to attend- thou made sure thy acrylics weren't gonna hurt thy girlfriend as thou carried the sleeping Mary in the hallways, listening to her gentle breathing.

Then of the vibration of thy phone, which made Adelind sigh of frustration. Then another right after. And a third. "Charlotte," thou caught the attention of thy friend and handed Mary over to Charlotte, pulling out thy phone once she was secure.

3 New Messages

Adelind opened them.

🦉: Mary left her Bible in the dorms. Do you know if 🍪 even needs it today?

🦉: It's the first day of school, so I assume not, but 🍪's major is Religious Studies, so I imagine having it is pretty important. It wouldn't be a good first impression to forget something so vital.

🦉: I can fly to 🍪's building and bring it myself. 🍪 can wake the **** up and get it 🍪self. You or Sally can come back and get it for 🍪.

Adelind scoffed to thyself that Minerva was censoring itself while texting.

🐍: Has't thee not seen how not restful Mary lay? It is clear that last night, 🍪 caught but a wink~

And after seeing that it was typing, thou called it.

"What do you think?" was how thou was greeted.

"A hi would've been nithe," Adelind said, keeping thy voice down. "I'm not waking her up. I'll text you when we get breakfatht. You can fly it to uth then."

"I can't fly when the sun is out, I won't be able to see."

"F'rget not your contact lenthes, bird of the night." Thou hung up with that, earning a couple of curious faces from thy friends. "Mary forgot her Bible," thou explained, catching an eye-roll from Regina as she kept walking. Ignoring it, Adelind went on.

It was no secret that Regina and Mary didn't get along, but that was all on the prat that did dressed in red. She stopped liking and getting along with the Saint when her and Adelind's relationship started.

Hmmm... Wherefore, Adelind ponders ...

Thou isn't stupid, thou can hear the conversations between her and Charlotte in the middle of the night. But thou was a great pretender. Thou had gotten some acting practice from Regina and got the rest of it from Finishing School back in England.

Ah, Finishing School. Brings back unwanted memories, however, Adelind uses their teachings to this day, so how much can thou complain? Plus, William Shakespeare's always got thy back.

Out of the corner of thy eye, thou noticed thy girlfriend slowly waking up. Giving a little half-smile, thou went over and tickled her chin. "Valorous m'rning," thou greeted thy beloved as Charlotte helped her back to her feet.
