Authors POV:
Precisely four days have passed and Sunghoon had been keeping his promise to Y/n.He takes her out for archery for an hour a day,he never skips breakfast,lunch or dinner just to see her and he has been putting a lot of effort into finding her friends.
Although something about finding them leaves Sunghoons non-beating heart feeling heavy.His simply not ready to face the truth he's been keeping to himself all this time or maybe it's because his scared that once she finds them Sunghoon will be a distant memory to her from that point onwards.
Regardless of his mixed emotions he still put his all into finding them because at the end of the day it's just for her.Although he questions himself quite a bit over his emotions.Is a dead person supposed to feel this strong emotions?
But as he laid eyes on the girl sleeping next to him peacefully he had seemed to forget everything else.She had an effect on him that he didn't understand yet.Her calm made him calm,her anger fired his anger,her smile triggered his smile.Sunghoon was never a person to show emotions easily but she just seems to make it flow out of him like a river.
Sunghoon moves a strand of Y/N's hair out of her face and tucks it behind her ear,the back of his fingers gently stroke her cheek.He thinks back to the other night when he had kissed her.
In all honesty Sunghoon couldn't think about anything else after that.Every time his mind would just drift back to that kiss,the way her hands wrapped around his neck,the way her small waist felt in his hands.How he had her pinned against the wall not long before that.
Sunghoon sighs as he feels guilty for having such thoughts when he's a prince but Sunghoon seems to forget he used to be human and even as a wandering soul he still is very much human.
Y/n shifts in her sleep making Sunghoon look at her interrupting his thoughts.Y/n moves closer to Sunghoon and snuggles into his chest.He pulls the blanket over her and wraps his arms around her.
"Hi..." Y/n whispers softly as she looks up at Sunghoon.
"Good morning my lady." Sunghoon greets back.
His lady.
Y/n smiles to herself.
Y/n smiles fondly at the position their in and makes no attempt to move.Instead she snuggles closer to Sunghoon.The prince is a little taken back by her actions but tries to remain composed.
"You should go get ready,we have a lot to do today okay.Sejun also said he needs to meet with you regarding some private matters." Sunghoon says moving Y/n off him and getting out of bed.
Y/n nods slowly not picking her head up.Sunghoon sighs knowing that he made her upset.She feels Sunghoon walk up to her and place a peck on the crown of her head.
"I have a lot to do so I won't be there for breakfast but I'll try to make it for lunch." He says before strutting out.
"Tsk asshole." Y/n whispers to herself annoyed and lowkey disappointed in Sunghoon.
Why was he trying so hard to find her friends?Does he really want her gone that bad?Did their kiss mean nothing?
All these thoughts flooding Y/N's mind.
"Aiissshhhhh!" Y/n yells out in frustration,ruffling her hair and falling back onto the bed.
"Princess are you okay?" Y/N hears Sejun knocking on the bedroom door.
"I'm fine!Just venting." Y/n replies face palming at the thought of how stupid she probably sounded.
