• Chapter 17 •

Authors POV:
The entire world feels like it's spinning and suddenly Y/n feels as if the world is trying to swallow her.She grips her chest tightly as she feels an unbearable ache.Sunghoon knows he can't approach her right now but that doesn't mean he isn't highly concerned about her.

"Darling...please calm down" Sunghoon's gentle voice speaks catching Y/n's attention

She looks at him with teary eyes and quivering lips.

"You knew..."

Her weak voice faintly whispered as she passed out.Sunghoon used his telekinesis to hold her up,he placed her on his horse without looking suspicious to the boys.

"Please...do follow me to my castle" Sunghoon offered and jumped on his horse as the boys walked beside him.

Sunghoon held Y/n tightly in front of him without letting the boys notice.He didn't want to scare them or for them to think suspiciously of him.These were his girlfriends friends after all,he needed to care for them.

Once they arrived at the castle Sejun immediately opened the doors and greeted the boys warmly.It was evident they felt a lot more comfortable after seeing Sejun.Maybe it was the comforting aura he gives off.

Sejun noticed the situation and attended to the boys while Sunghoon took Y/n to their bedroom.He placed her on the bed and stared at her sleeping figure.

Only now did he notice her pale complexion,her lacking vibrant color and her figure cold as ice.Regardless Sunghoon still thought she was the most beautiful girl he had ever laid eyes on.

He gets ready to explain when she wakes up.He is not worried about the boys since he knows Sejun will take proper care of them.For now Sunghoon needed to worry about his darling Princess.

Hours have passed and it was now night.Sejun let the boys bathe and prepared clothes for them.He let them explore the castle and answered every question they had honestly.He is now preparing dinner while the boys rest in their designated rooms.

Y/n groans as she wakes up,Sunghoon rushes to her side and holds her hand as she sits up.She stares at Sunghoon and he can see she is recalling her memories from earlier.Tears brim in her eyes and Sunghoon immediately pulls her to his chest.

"W-Why didn't y-you say anything...?" Y/n stutters softly.

"I'm sorry my princess,I thought if I had just kept quiet you would've noticed but you didn't.After that I couldn't bare to be the one to break the news to you,it felt too cruel.I'm sorry I truly am" Sunghoon spoke gently

"I-I really h-hate you P-Park Su-Sunghoon" Y/n cried into his chest and he held her tightly and didn't respond.

Sunghoon knew her broken heart was speaking for her right now so he let her say whatever she wanted.

"You should've told me I was dead" she sobbed as Sunghoon felt a sting in his non beating heart, hearing her say those words

He didn't respond instead he just held her.Sunghoon felt emotions towards Y/n he never knew he could feel,the last thing he wanted to do was break her heart and tell her,her life was selfishly taken away.

Sunghoon didn't know how to tell her what happened to her so he just kept quiet.

Hours have passed and everyone in the castle was soundly asleep.

Except Y/n...she carefully got out of bed and walked towards the rooms the boys were in.She visited each one of them.Her heart aching more and more every second.
